If you don’t skip the credits you’ll notice that Russ Walko aka Growler (and lead puppeteer of Baron Vaughn’s Servo) built creatures for this new series!

Finally, Growler. Whoever voices him sounds A LOT like Rowlf. If he was credited, I missed it. Really curious about who played him. Russ Walko

This episode is a personal favorite as it's the one I got to write on. No bigger thrill than hearing some of your jokes make the cut.

As I said elsewhere, I thought this episode was hilarious and for me even funnier than the first! The host segments were great too, that first segment with the bots dressed as raccoons knocking over the cereal boxes was the point where I said to myself, "Yup, they nailed it." That was a fun bit to do. Little behind the scenes about it in the Spoiler space below. This bit required two of each bot, both dressed like raccoons, one set with the sledgehammer and baseball bat. As they destroy the pyramid of lightbulbs and disappear under the desk, they are swapped out and popped back up. Not THAT easy of a feat when you consider how heavy Crow is and how crowded the puppet trench was with puppeteers and crew members. I think we did about two or three takes. This was one host segment bit I was eager to see the final product of.

That's amazing. If you ever see him again, tell him the cinematography was one of the better aspects of this awful movie. And thank him (and you) for helping make another episode of our favorite show. Of course! Thank YOU for backing (I really can't say that enough). I told Shout that when the time comes I'll put them in touch with hi for any DVD Extras for that episode. He seemed really interested to talk about it.

As a backer I got early access last night and, after some skipping around the different episodes to watch how certain bits turned out, I started in on 1102. I'm about halfway through, but I'm in no rush to watch it because I want to watch on Netflix so that my viewings are registered by Netflix. After Friday I'll watch the episodes when I can, probably a couple a week as time permits.

Cool beans! Say, Grant...I hope you understand that our (or my, at least) griping, nitpicking and overall bitching about every little thing isn't a reflection of our actual gratitude and appreciation of the job you and everyone else did on the show. Because we do appreciate it. On the whole, the season (so far that I've seen) is pretty good. We're (I'm) just superfans. Its what we do. Please, though, feel free to take any constructive criticisms you see as valid* and pass them on up the chain of command so that next season can be even better! (*every bit of constructive criticism is, in fact, valid, but you're a busy guy so we'll cut you some slack) I love, understand and respect the passion for the show mainly because I have that same passion for it (fan since eat early '90s). If the fans weren't passionate about the show, we wouldn't have been able to film 14 new episodes! I hope, hope, hope there's another season so we can see what we can do about some of these constructive criticisms. That would be awesome!

When we were filming this, I instantly realized that the cinematographer listed in the credits lived upstairs from me in my first apartment. By chance, I saw him walking down the street a couple months ago and told him they'd be riffing this film and he flipped out. He said, "I didn't think anybody remembered that film." He said it was the first project he worked on in Hollywood and the whole crew thought that the director was going to be the next Spielberg...until they started filming.
This was the film that had all the puppeteers quoting lines from it. The gifts that Russ and I gave the other puppeteers after we wrapped had a card that read MERRY BIGFOOT. Many laughs were had during the filming of this one.
Mary Jo, Kevin and Bill were all on set in California. I play Kevin's virtual hands grooming Patton in that scene.

Very possibly one of the least disappointing experiences I've had in my adult life This needs to be used in all the press packets going forward. This line is my single favorite review so far. I laughed out loud. Thank YOU for backing!
