Getting off topic for one second..... Quatermass is a "stinker" Normally love ya, Sat News. But in this case, bite me. I'd love to look at the Legend Films website about this. But it won't let me on at all without my updating Microflash and I don't have Administrative Clearance to update anything on this computer.

I'll respond for System Admins everywhere:
Boohoo.
Actually, I understand how you feel, but you have to understand I hear people whining about not being able to install ridiculous stuff on thier pc's a lot.

Their site says basically they won't let you on until you update....even though I'm interested in buying the DVD even if I can't see their fancy online graphics. It just strikes me as a bit stupid. And I've seen people from Legend on here before....was hoping they'd see it.

I'm incredibly excited about this. I've loved nearly every version of Little Shop that I've seen (Corman movie, stage musical, movie musical, haven't seen the new Broadway version, though), and adding Mike Nelson can only make it better.

I thought "goyum" was plural....

I always count me in with it, Rebel! lol!
[One of my favorite memories from college: this mid-west gay goyum teaching all the Chicago jewish girls how to make bagels!!]

I have the same darn problem Rebel. When they (Mikes site, or Satellite News) post a direct link to the order page, that's how I usually get to them. But it's frustrating having to wait for that and I wish Legend (and others like them) would offer a simple HTML index page. I can't buy it if I can't gain access.
Though I never was a fan of Little Shop, I'll get this for Mike. Also, I saw a list of other flicks Legend's announced for future release (and might be potential candidates for his commentary)
They include... 20 Million Miles to Earth The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms Earth vs. the Flying Saucers It Came from Beneath the Sea

Same as MJ, I'll get the DVD for Mike's commentary. I already have "Little Shop" on DVD and am not really a great fan of it.

20 Million Miles to Earth The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms Earth vs. the Flying Saucers It Came from Beneath the Sea Blasphamy!!!! This crosses that line that This Island Earth was treading on, IMHO. They're also not films in the public domain like the rest of Legend's catalog. Why not stick with Ed Wood films for awhile? Glen or Glenda could use a restoration.

I think they'd be fun just as This Island Earth was. They're just silly movies and nothing that brilliant. And hell, as long as I get a laugh, he could do commentary on Casablanca for all I care.

I'm just not looking forward to movies where there's more commentary than riffing (like Night of the Living Dead) because Mike has too much respect for them. Harryhausen films aren't "cheesy".
