Just watched Daredevil. It was fantastic! I can't wait for Battlefield Earth and Star Trek VI now. It was so great to hear the old interplay between Mike, Bill, and Kevin again, and they were in top form. One riff that had me laughing for probably a full minute was when Bullseye (Irish-accented Colin Farrell) gives a whistle and a really hokey accented laugh from offscreen to get Jennifer Garner's attention. Right then, Bill yells out, "Heeeey, Jimmy me boy!", referencing the old Star Trek episode. It was dead on, and I had to rewind the dvd a couple of times. Plus, they cut to the heart of one of the reasons I don't like the movie: one of the first times Ben Affleck is jumping and flipping around, Bill goes, "I'm blind, so the laws of physics don't apply to me!". My thoughts exactly. Highly, highly recommended.

Firewall - Another solid Mike and Kevin effort. They are definitely on a roll.

Battlefield Earth - Another one given my highest recommendations! This movie is pretty much relentlessly dumb, and it seems to glory in its own plot contrivances. When I looked at the time, I was seriously astonished that it did not even last two hours. Be that as it may, it was full of great banter between all three of the guys and is definitely worth watching.

For Star Trek VI? I agree, it wasn't as great as Daredevil and Battlefield Earth, but it was still worth watching. Lots of good moments, and again, it was just good to have Mike, Bill, and Kevin one last time (for now). As much as I like some of the two person rifftrax I've seen, three is probably the optimum number of people to have. Um, duh, right?

Nestor - I know... a little late for Christmas. But I am watching them in order as time allows. This one might be my favorite. Absolutely hilarious. Only complaint is that it was too short. An A+ all the way!

Troll 2
This is really my kind of Rifftrax. Nice to see a real cheese-ball wreck of a film done for a change. It was fun to watch an MST3K-quality movie as a Rifftrax. Lowtax worked out just fine, as far as I'm concerned.
God, what a movie. A lot of head-shaking moments and glances in confusion at fellow watchers. But definitely funny with the commentary.
Strong outing for Rifftrax. Recommended.

Only got minutes left on the library compter... Dr. Moreau, Reign of Fire. Both solid, though not among my favorites. Loved the Brando riffs. Both reviewed at my website. That is all. Good day

Battlefield Earth How I wish the big three(Mike, Bill and Kevin) keep riff, especially after this great one. Never seen this movie before didn't realise how bad it was. Great time can't wait for the film guys DVDs to come out.

Over the Top I thought this was a pretty strong 'Mike only' riff. Lots of 80s cheese in this film. Plus there were at least 1 MST3K reference and 1 previous Rifftrax reference. DisembAudio has a few lines, but only at about 2 points in the film. I actually got a laugh out of the fact that his first sync line was singing with the theme song.

Reign of Fire Incomprehensible movie, both in terms of plot and diction. Solid riffing but not my favorite. My daughter watched it with me so that made it special.

Firewall and Nestor - Both oustanding efforts. Full reviews are found here Mighty JacksI no longer have a 'puter and my attempt at burning them to disc at the library failed... BUT I keep buying them and thanks to some cool board members (do they want to be IDed?) I'm getting to watch them eventually. So thumbs up to two MSTies here at the MB; You rock!! All the good noise about Daredevil has me slobbering. Can hardly wait to hear it

Somehow Nestor gave that same indefinably Christmas feeling as the MST3k Santa episodes, even when I watched it in January. It was definitely one of the best rifftrax.

Yeah Nestor is a good one to introduced newbs too as well. I was telling my gal pal about it, I know the music references would make her laugh (How the song never leaves the 1, 4, 5 chord progression and of course, the speacial appearance by Courtney Love)

Daredevil I'm on a Rifftrax roll, second one this weekend! Daredevil makes Reign of Fire seem like Citizen Kane in comparison. God awful movie, cheap not-so-special effects, Ben Affleck... what more can you say about Ben Affleck? Nice to have Mike, Kevin, and Bill together again. They riff together almost seamlessly. A top notch outing.
