I STILL have to go back to the Eccleston episodes and watch. I skipped it because I wasn't really sure I'd even like the show, and I had heard Tennant was the best, so I started with series 2. Now after watching everything of Tennant's (who still is THE Doctor) and all but the xmas special of Smith's (who is great as well), I am absolutely obsessed with this show. But I still can't bring myself to watch series one. I even started up the episode "Dalek" because normally I love anything having to do with the Daleks, but even that didn't grab me. Are there any series one episodes I should watch, even if I can't get into the rest of them? Paul Cornell's "Father's Day" was the one that absolutely blew me away. Billie Piper's performance is incredible, but then she had a really good script. Watch it and have a good cry.

Series One has some of my least favorite stories since the show came back back on ("Aliens of London"/"WW3", "Boom Town," "The Long Game," etc.). However, I love Eccelstone's performance. I'm not surprised he only stayed a year. Imo he's the best actor to ever play "Doctor Who" (though not my favorite Doctor, mind you). Check out Eccelstone in "Shallow Grave," "Jude," "The Others," etc. He's done some crap films, too, but at his best he's absolutely amazing.

The second half of Series 1 was the best run of the show untill Series 5 (in my opinion).
Dalek, Father's Day, The Empty Child/ The Doctor Dances, Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways were all great.

I heard this the other day and saw The Doctors Daughter episode again Friday night BBC America: The 10th Doctor David Tennant is engaged to long time girlfriend Georgia Moffett who played the Jenny on that episode. She's a gorgeous petite blonde with a tight hard body.. So good for you David !! She's also the real life daughter of The 5th Doctor Peter Davison gallifreynewsbase.blogspot.com/2011/01/dwn041111104212-david-tennant-engaged.html

Not only that, but David and Georgia may or may not be expecting a baby. (The sources are tabloids, and as far as I know, the couple have not confirmed it, so take this with a grain of salt.) Apparently David joked about any children the two would have could have dire effects on the space-time continuum, thanks to their Doctor Who connections.
Well, let's see. If they have a girl, she'll be the Doctor's daughter, and her mother will be the Doctor's Daughter, who is also a Doctor's daughter.
Yep... nine months to Belgium.

Still don't like it, though McGann was a good Doctor in the audio adventures. There are some nice moments (McGann recalls Gallifrey, Sylvester McCoy returning, etc), but the story should have been much stronger imo.

I still want it. The commentary's supposed to have McCoy and McGann together with Nick Briggs. Sweet!
