I preordered through Amazon. I don't need the stress ball. I really like the cover art,I wonder what each idividual DVD art will look like?

Will there be a version without the tin? I'd rather just have normal packaging.

Will there be a version without the tin? I'd rather just have normal packaging. Well, the normal packaging will be inside the tin if this is packaged like the 20th Anniversary tin. But, it's a safe bet to assume that yes, eventually, they'll release a tin-free version of this set. Although, no matter what set you buy, you'll get the normal packaging.

I hope so. I don't want to get the tin version, mainly because I'm a bit obsessive about keeping stuff. I keep all the packaging and stuff with all the CDs and DVDs I buy. But I just don't want the space-taking tin. I'm hoping at some point I can trade my 20th Anniversary Tin and XVI boxset for regular versions.

It actually even dropped down to 39.99 at one point. That's a pretty awesome deal for this set considering it comes in a tin and includes 5 episodes instead of the usual 4.

Very cool. Should be fun to dig into the box. I haven't seen the majority of the GAMERA's since the mid 90's.

Here's the Trailer.
Note: They used the wrong Theme song in the trailer.

Snagged this at comic-con last weekend. Came with a stress-ball and the 20th anniversary T-shirt. Finally sitting down to enjoy a couple episodes.
The first disc's menu is pretty cool and creative. It depicts, literally, Gamera vs. Crow and Servo. The only promo on the disc at the beginning is for Shout's release of the original Japanese Gamera; a nice thoughtful touch.
Speaking of thoughtful; "Turn down your lights, where applicable" is present on at least Gamera (the opening theme is playing as I type this).
Anybody have any specific questions about the set? I know the reviews cover a lot.

Although I love being the one to report it could you check to see who they liscenced the Gamera Films from? It should be on the bottom of the set. Pretty sure we know who it is but could you check anyway?
