Well, at least I won't have to subscribe to a new stream service just for one show, unlike Star Trek: Discovery.
But this probably means all the episodes will be put up at once, which kills the "next week!" anticipation that I always loved about the show.
But at least they can stay as uncut as possible!

I *love* that Joel is stressing it is season 11 and not a reboot. MJP is back as Pearl and writing, Bobo and Observer are back. Gypsy updates. This is more than I hoped for tonight.
And at least we got to see/hear all this before the pirate livestream was told to stop filming.

There are shows that post weekly instead of the whole season (Chelsea Handler's talk show, for example). It wouldn't surprise me at all if that was one of the conditions Joel insists upon, considering how often he mentioned it during the campaign. Plus I bet they stick to 90 minutes, with the occasional big episode (the first episode, the holiday special) running longer. |
