My favorites include 418 and 207. I die laughing everytime I see the last host segment of 418. They didn't care! And the "bank robbery" scene in 207, where the Bank sign is made with what appears to be electrical tape. What a movie! And how about 621? Coleman Francis and Tor Johnson. Could you ask for more? Me thinks not. I could go on and on and on. Perhaps I already have.

Great Message Board Guys! Certainly beats the one they have at SciFi, with its spam-filled hate posts. My favorite episode currently would have to be "Moon Zero Two." Not exactly sure why, it is an early episode, but it actually features a movie that appears to have cost some money to create. Very funny and a good example of Mst3k starting to hit its stride!

My favorite episode is probably Village of the Giants.
I really enjoy the riffing of Beau Bridges, the Beau Brummells, Tommy Kirk, and Ron Howard.

There will always be a special place in my heart for Zombie Nightmare because it was the first episode I ever saw. I think the terribleness of that movie is somewhat under-rated. Only Hobgoblins outweighs it in pure vileness.

This changes almost daily, but at the moment my favorites would be Invasion Of The Neptune Men, Squirm, Sidehackers, and The Brain That Wouldn't Die.

Pod People turned me into a MiSTie. This episode had me in tears even though I think there are other funnier episodes. It just hit a nerve I guess. I am also a fan of a lot of SciFi episodes that aren't very popular (Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders and Time Chasers, anyone?) I like the stupid cheesy movies the best, and my least favorite are some of the boring black-and-white ones where the characters just talk for hours.

Of the various genres covered, I like the Russo-Finnish movies the best.
But as far as favorite individual episodes, other than the classics (like Pod People and Manos), I would list the following 4:
601- Girls Town. Love me some Mamie. 820- Space Mutiny. The Slake Fistcrunch naming riffs never get old. 822- Overdrawn at the Memory Bank. So 80s, so cheesy, so not-Casablanca. 903- Puma Man. "I'm Donald Pleasance and I'm funky."

Oh boy, do I love these threads.
Well, my favorite Joel episodes would have to be MANOS and POD PEOPLE...I just remember watching Pod People on a snowy half-day last year as soon as I got home...just generates such a great feeling everytime I watch it.
My favorite Mike CC eps would be ANGEL'S REVENGE and BLOODLUST, I just can't get over the blonde chick singing Shining Your Love, and Mike saying, "You know in the 70's you could take an abstract concept like "shining your love" and just go with it."
And my favorite Sci-fi eps would have to be...
OVERDRAWN AT THE MEMORY BANK (my friend and I can't get over Tooby)
SPACE MUTINY (Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Well, glad I got that out of my system...)
SOULTAKER (Oh by the way, do you wear your sunglasses at night, so you can, so you can, keep track of the visions in your eyes?)
MERLIN'S SHOP (Merlin's Hop?)
Oh, there are so many more...great, now I've gotta watch some of these tonight.

I just watched Girl In Lovers Lane for the first time in about ten years. Just as funny as I recalled.

Forrest, I think a rewatch of "Overdrawn" might change your opinion. I put off watching it for months, because I'd only heard & read negative things about it. When I finally took a deep breath and turned it on, I was shocked to be laughing so hard. It's easily in my top 10 list.
Then again, I'm a big Bogart fan, and a child of the 80s, so your mileage may vary.
"Hey! Keep your good movies out of your crappy movies."

I also think you'll be surprised if you watch Overdrawn again. That movie's almost funny by itself....

Jack Frost
When I first saw that episode, something clicked in my brain. The humor just hit me on all levels. I laughed so hard I remember my wife coming out of the kitchen wondering what all the commotion was about.
Yucca Flats and Santa Claus are others I love.

Hi. Are us foreigners allowed to join in ??
I'm from the UK where we only ever got to see about 20 of the Sci-Fi episodes. Favourites include Agent For H.A.R.M, Hobgoblins, Space Mutiny, Puma Man, Jack Frost, Devil Doll etc. I also have a soft spot for The Deadly Mantis, as it was the very first MST I ever saw.
Over the last 12 months I've been ordering dozens of dvd's from the States, including all the boxed sets - expensive but well worth it. Because I'm constantly watching "new" episodes I tend to have a different favourite every day - Mitchell, Manos, Bloodlust, Angel's Revenge, Pod People - they're all just too good.
It's much easier to name the episodes I DON'T like. At the moment only Sidehackers comes into that category. I suppose if I had to pick a fave out of the episodes I've seen so far it would have to be Space Mutiny. But then I'm expecting a new shipment of dvd's shortly which includes the likes of Santa Claus and Riding With Death. And there are still around a hundred episodes that I haven't seen yet, so who knows what my favourite will be next week ??

Welcome, Dangermouse! Love the Penfold avatar It's hard to choose one favorite MSTie ep. Here's a few of mine: Brain that Wouldn't Die -- "This Brain...it won't DIE" Revenge of the Creature -- "John Agar in tiny shorts.. oh THANK YOU MOVIE!" The Projected Man -- "...if this HAD been your knickers." "I ..was..a..clamshell..design." I've wondered if some of the pop culture references might be hard to follow for MSTie fans overseas?
