I've wondered if some of the pop culture references might be hard to follow for MSTie fans overseas? It can be a little difficult sometimes, especially the references to specific people. I still have no idea who Pauly Shore is.....

I still have no idea who Pauly Shore is..... You are a very, very lucky person ;D He was a "comedian/actor" who made some god-awful movies in the '90's. His persona was some kind of one-note, goofy surfer-dude type. Stupid and unfunny but he was popular. Must be a pact with the devil. Naturally, he was ripe for MST3K picking!

For those who don't know Pauly Shore may be personally responsible for the current"dumbing" of American comedy. Adam Sandler, Rob Shnider, you name it, it had to start somewhere.

I've seen like 70 eps, and the best of them have to be:
- 703: Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell "I get...to keep the glass!" - 815: Agent for H.A.R.M "Drive while I do my grizzly bear impression!" - 820: Space Mutiny "Thick McRunfast"
I can't really choose an episode as my favorite, because each episode has a really funny part that I like to watch.

My fav would have to be riding with death. Love that Ben Murphy Ah yes, Death travels in comfort with Central Moving & Storage. That movie is all over the place! You just know that it had to be some kind of failed tv show spliced together. So we have established that Ben Murphy has invisibility-- cool -- but the 2nd half of the "movie" was just too weird! Oh, NOW we know who Robert Denby is! Actually, I thought the Gavin Mcleod look-a-like was more evil that Robert Denby. He only wanted to blow up a car -- Patent paper boy wanted to take out Abby, Sam and a whole town block! I think Dr. F would be proud I always bust a gut when I hear "I'm not cool so I'll have to shake the normal way..." or "Sam, my patent papers are at a slight angle!" or the sounds of glasses being endlessly cleaned -- squeak, squeak! Gotta go now, must count some turkeys

I read alot of people's favorite lists. The one's I chose usually don't appear on any of them. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Here's my list, in no particular order of importance:
The Phantom Planet (actually one of my all time faves) Soultaker Final Justice The Brain that Wouldn't die Eagah The Girl With the Gold Boots The Undead The Giant Spider Invasion Jack Frost Hamlet

I liked that episode a lot too. But mostly for the Frank song. Still, The Final Sacrifice is one which I will never get over. That ep is just so damn good. I would agree with you also that Final Sacrifice is an excellant episode.

I'll always have a soft spot for Mitchell, since it was the first episode I owned on tape and watched from beginning to end. But, as odd as it sounds, the episode that truly made me a MSTie for life was Catalina Caper. I know that many MSTies hate this episode, but I could never understand why. It was the one and only time they did an intentional comedy, and I think Joel and the bots did an excellent job. Even after finally acquiring the entire MST3k library years later, this is still the only episode where I'm laughing practically nonstop from beginning to end. And, everytime I hear a sound that practically resembles a steam whistle in any way, I still say out loud "And another painting is stolen!"

One of the most underrated shows in my opinion.
