I wasn't trying to be confrontational, I'm just not a prog fan...whatever floats yr boat. Nah it's cool. I just like getting you guys riled up about things. We all have varying tastes, that's cool. We can all learn from one another. Servo

Yeah sure was. The stuff I used to riff on were educational movies they showed in school. One that sticks out in my mind the most was a film called Junk Food Nothing to Snicker About which tried to warn us about the evils of junk food(cue evil sounding music). God that movie seemed more like a wartime propaganda flick.
Also you can put me under as a fan of classic rock. The Beatles,Doors,Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin are what I like to listen to.

Tell me about it. Its almost the same thing at my school where almost everyone is into the overrated vomit inducing rap that they play on MTV. Besides when it comes to rap I'am more into the old school kind.

Lets see, Im pretty much a fan of classic rock. Pink Floyd,Grateful Dead,CSNY,Dylan and Zeppelin are some of my favorites. Oops...I'm gonna go of track again...music is my obsession. GREAT CHOICES! I am also a huge Prog fan: RUSH, YES, ELP, The Flower Kings, Marillion.

Here is the music that I like. Agree with me, Rowsdower. And yes, New York is kinda cold. Pixies Sonic Youth Garbage (Shirley Manson from Scotland!) The Raveonettes (Denmark!) Junior Senior (Denmark!) The Sounds (Sweden!) The White Stripes Hot Hot Heat (CANADIANS!) And the like. If anyone has some music recommendations for me, send them quickly because I need CD's to buy. Preferably 80's music, because I am just DYING for that. See? My lung collapsed. SEND 80's MUSIC RECOMMENDATIONS QUICKLY!

There's some other lesser known. Marshal Crenhaw, T Bone Burnett. And Warren Zevon, but he started in the 70's so I guess he's not strictly 80's.

Ive heard of all of them but I dont know from where.Thats ok, all these bands (Talking Heads,Ramones etc.) started off in the late 70s but really became popular in the 80s.
