I still think they should've travelled forward in time and riffed the hell out of 'The Terminal.' I think that's the worst Tom Hanks movie I've ever seen.
But onto ones that would actually be feasable... Arch Hall Jr. Stars in 'The Sadist'

Oh man! I think one that'd be great for them would be Barb Wire. Yet another Casablanca rip off that they could riff on.

"Pussycat" is one of my all time faves. Good (***) film!!! (It's also John Waters' favorite American film. The Russ Meyer Film Company has even put out a "Faster Pussycat, Kill! Kill! lunchbox!!)
Mudhoney is also VERY good! Haven't seen that one for a long time.
The films actually parody themselves, so there's no real need for "outside" jokes. The scripts work fine by themselves. For me, at any rate! lol!

No one here has mentioned " Battle Beyond the Stars" Look at the lineup - This movie also shared the exact space shots with another movie that i cant recall. the same way that Space Mutiny used old Battlestar Galactica scenes
Battle Beyond the Stars (1980) Directed by Jimmy T. Murakami Tagline: A battle beyond time, beyond space. (more)
Plot Outline: Seven futuristic mercenaries are assembled to defend a helpless farm colony from an evil overlord. (more) (view trailer)

This does sound great, and it also reminds me how much fun it would've been had they redone "SST Death Flight" on cable. With the higher-quality riffing from the post-KTMA years, it would have been a blast. [/quote]
I really believe that you're right about this. For me, a lot of the KTMA'S are very slow, not a lot of riffing. I think this may be because a lot of the movie riffs weren't scripted. They just sat down and stated riffing on them off the top of their heads.

Here are several movies that they could have done(some of these I like, but they still should have been MST'd for fun) The Giant Claw, Reptilicus,The Alligator People,The Angry Red Planet,Dark Star,Equinox,Without Warning,Curse of the Fly,Fear Dot Com,Ghost Ship,Astro Zombies,The Grudge,The Ring(most of these 2000 horror films are just awful in my opinion) Monster from the Ocean Floor,The Ape, The Ape Man, Jungle Woman,Captive Wild Woman, Invisible Invaders,Night of the Lepus, Attack of the 50ft Woman(both the original & remake),Gamera Super Monster,Castle Freak,Maniac 1934 film,Teenage Monster,Cat-Women on the Moon,The Incredible Two headed Transplant(Rosey Greer), Curse of the Swamp Creature, The Amphibian Man, The Neanderthal Man,Zontar,Yongary,X from Outer Space,The Twilight People,Beyond Atlantis,Night of the Ghouls,Plan 9,The Devil Bat,First Man Into Space, In the Year 2889,Creature from the Haunted Sea, The Mighty Gorga, The Mighty Peking Man,Judge Dredd,Beach Girls & The Monster,Schlock, any Jungle Jim movie,Horror of the Zombies(3rd Blind dead film), Devil Girl From Mars, Invasion of the Saucer Men, Mutiny in Outer Space,Puppet Master,Syngenor,The Suckling... I am sure there are still more, but that's what hit me. I have seen all/most of these, they would make great MST3K titles if the series would be reborn. So much junk still out there from the 1950s, and so much more junky titles within the past few years.. oh heres more, Mr Stitch, Official Denial, New Eden, most of those sci fi original movies. New bad films are made monthly. MST3K could litterly live forever ! This is an extensive list, but a fun read, my first post ever....

I like the Sadist , thats an intense film. Astro Zombies would be better than Faster Pussy Cat, that one is a classic. I still cant beleive they did This Island Earth. I wish Jungle Goddess and The Sidehackers would be released in non MST3K versions from someone (alpha video??) So many of Alpha videos titles can also be great MST3K choices. Oh, the Cyclops would have been a good one as well. Curse of the Faceless Man is another one, and the Wasp Woman. Some of the ones on KTMA they did would have been cool like Superdome,SST,Legend of the Dinosaurs...

Jason X was easily MST3K material. Hand of Death would have been a good one too (the John Agar 1 hour wonder) I thought Jason X was bad, but Freddy vs Jason was entertaining So many new movies are such poo these days. I wish they did more Herucles related titles, there are tons of those out there ! Even the Lou Ferrigno Herucles wouldve been MST3K material easily. Oh, and there is the Snow Creature,Sasquatch, Equinox (AKA The Beast), Creature with Klaus Kinski, Journey to the 7th Planet, Mission Mars,Batman & Robin, Faust So many titles they could have done, only 10 seasons

But they all deserved to be on the show if you ask me.

Anyone remember Teenage Zombies? Bad ,bad movie. One of the kids got on my nerves because he kept vasillating between hero and comic relief and looked like he was in deperate need of ritalin. No one could act their way out of a paper bag. And,of course, the memorable last line, "Let's go horseback riding!"
