Teenage Zombies would have been another one, as well as Frankenstein Island (ANYTHING from Jerry Warren) Man-Beast is still another, & the Crater Lake Monster and Mystery on Monster Island would have been yet another bunch. Oh yeah, the Blood Beast Terror with Peter Cushing is still another.. I posted over 30 movies the other night(scroll up) what do you guys think of that list of movies ? With all the ones I think are MST3K material plus new junk that is out there(Swimfan, Fear.com,Ghost Ship, Jason X to name a few) dying for the MST treatment, I think we start a play to bring back MST3K...

If The Howling 2 didn't have so much random, gratuitous nudity in it, it'd be a perfect MST3K. When I first saw it, I couldn't believe that Reb "Yells lines at the top of his lungs" Brown of Space Mutiny fame is the "hero."

You can say Howling 2 and beyond were MST3K types. I always thought the ones MST3K rejected were most interesting. I would never have rejected any movie for that show as it could have/may have kept the show running(in a perfect world)

Brahm Stoker's Dracula imdb.com/title/tt0103874/The only difference between it and "Dracula, Dead and Loving It" was at least the latter was TRYING to be funny. (didn't always succeed, but tried! ) imdb.com/title/tt0112896/What the hell were they thinking when they cast Gary Oldman with those little round glasses as Dracula? Who else here thought John Lennon joined the undead?

I liked Bram Stoker's Dracula... kinda. I thought Anthony Hopkins was awsome as Van Helsing. However... Mel Brooks as Van Helsing was better . I can't believe that that movie has such a low rating. I really liked it.

Al Adamson films wouldve been great for MST3K - Dracula vs. Frankenstein, Horror of the Blood Monsters... They NEVER DID ATTACK OF THE 50 FT WOMAN !! HARRY!!!! They should have done Howard the Duck. If MST were still alive I would request that they do Star Wars Episodes 1,2,3 and make them 3 hour specials. I am partial to the 1970s Star Wars, sorry.

Van Helsing would be a good choice too. Mr Hyde with his buttcrack showing and Frankenstein bellowing like TV's Frank & unlikeable characters make this a winner for me. Both Tomb Raider films deserve MST treatment as well. BATTLEFIELD EARTH !! I just remembered that one (WHY??) That really deserves it, as does Planet of the Apes - Tim Burton's version

The Devil's Rain would be a good one. Ernest Borgnine and William Shatner. Yow.
Also, I think a perfect film for MST3K if they could get the rights would be "Mac and Me". Anybody remember this? It was, like "Pod People", a ripoff of E.T., except the difference is that this one was funded entirely by McDonalds. It's one long McDonalds ad. Really, really bad.
There are also some movies that would be shoo-ins if they'd ever been translated into English. There's for example the Filipino Batman ripoff film "Alyas Batman and Robin".

I USED TO OWN that Batman & Robin tape LOL Yes, that wouldve been a good one. Devil's Rain - havent seen that one Mac & me - yes that wouldve been a good one THere are a few Dario Argento & Lucio Fulci films, but they might be a little too gory for a PG13 TV show

I liked Bram Stoker's Dracula... kinda. I thought Anthony Hopkins was awsome as Van Helsing. However... Mel Brooks as Van Helsing was better . I can't believe that that movie has such a low rating. I really liked it. Oh the I hated Bram Stoker's Dracula. Maybe, because I'm such a "zealot." Same reason "The Two Towers" pissed me off. Said it follows the book and DOESN'T. Bram Stoker's Dracula indeed. It isn't even CLOSE to the book. And what were they thinking with Gary Oldman's hair? It was so ripe for Leslie Nielson to rip it off like a hat in the parody. The Mel Brook movie could have been better. I never thought Mel Brook was as good since he split up (professionally that is) with Gene Wilder. When those two teamed up, they made the two funniest movies ever made in one year. Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles. Although, I thought Spaceballs was really funny. A very underated but funny movie. That scene in the diner when John Hurt re-enacted the chest burster scene and the alien goes off singing the Michigan J. Frog song (you know . . . Hello my honey, hello my baby, hello my ragtime gal. You would have to be dead for 50 years not to have heard that song) was PURE GENIUS. ;D
