It's mind-boggling to think so much money and time was spent over a few seconds of footage from a B-movie. A B-movie that hasn't seen an official release since the end of the VHS-era.
At the very least, it's good to hear that Wade is licensing some of his catalog out. I wonder if Film Detective offered to do their own transfers?

With the economic impact of the current crisis, Susan eventually might not be able to afford throwing tons of money at keeping her films under lock and key. IIRC, it took losing millions on bad investments to bring Roger Corman around?
I sometimes think Wade probably wants to be buried clutching the last known print of Rocketship XM.

Sad to hear Shout has given up with Hart, but given that they have already gone an entire decade with her I’m sure, it gets to a point where you just decide enough is enough. However, at the same time, it makes me wonder..... what about when Susan’s time on Earth comes to an end? Are they going to just let those episodes go or give a next shot to whoever owns the rights to the 11 films she owns? Guess we’ll have to find out in 10-20 years.....

I believe the copyright expires after 95 years under U.S copyright law. We could all live to see a release if we start taking our vitamins. I believe the earliest title of these is Rocketship XM, which would put it in the public domain only 25 years from now in 2045.

MST3K should really be included in the national archives or national film registry as being culturally significant. Would be nice to have it preserved that way, at least.

I think we can assume that Shout! has all the master tapes digitally preserved at this point.

Given the tape hits on the average Shout release, it would be nice to believe that somebody was cleaning the up, not just storing them. But at least they shouldn't get any worse.

Note that the six in-print episodes from the "Lost and Found" collection are listed there.

Note that the six in-print episodes from the "Lost and Found" collection are listed there. No they’re not, CheesyFlix does not have The Crawling Eye, Mad Monster, Manhunt In Space, The Beatniks, Blood Waters Of Dr. Z Or Final Justice listed on the URL I shared.

Oh good, the "powers that be" must have provided him an updated list, 'cause they were still up there as of that post.

I can confirm that they were indeed on the site yesterday.
I'm going to assume it was an oversight on CheesyFlix's part. They were probably contacted to remove episodes from volumes that were in print, and the Lost and Found Collection probably slipped their mind. Somebody probably corrected them.
