I haven't seen it since it was last on television, but Hamlet has to be the worst episode of the show.
One thing I do like about it though. There is something great about the fact that they were riffing Hamlet, and I give them credit for doing a tough movie. It's terribly unfunny, but I think it's fitting that they would bust out a Shakespeare play to use in their final season. There's just something sublime about it.
I'm with Van Hagar as far as choosing other episodes goes. None are as bad as Hamlet.

It looks like some folks are having a tough time picking 5.
Even though I like Hamlet, I know it's going to win this thread. But don't let's turn this into another Hamlet-bashing thread. Be a man (or a woman) and pick 5.

Hamlet was not that bad, & I loved Overdrawn at the Memory Bank (that one surprised me that people have it in their bootom 5).
Here are my bottom 5 in no order:
1. Atomic Brain- on vol. 2 dvd & it just in not that funny at all. I couldn't stand this one at all.
2.The Unearthly-on vol. 2 dvd, this show is just slow & not that funny. this is why the vol. 2 dvd is the worst b/c of this & Atomic Brain (Sidehackers was good)
3.Monster A- Go-Go-Another painful one that had nothing to it. No monster
4.The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living And Became Mixed-Up Zombies - I thought that this one would be a classic but it just gave me a big headache. I was also in pain.
5. Hercules Unchained-I had pain watching this one, deep-hurting, I just couldn't stand it.
Note: only watched these shows once, I might re-watch them & have a change of mind. Also there are some shows that I have not seen yet that could make this list.

I have to say, I enjoyed Hamlet more the second and third time I watched it. It's gotten to where I enjoy it. Anyway, here's my list. I think it's a little more diverse than my favorate episode list. I'll start with my least favorate.
1.The Phantom Planet - The only episode that i taped off of the Sci-Fi Channel that I was never able to watch after my initial viewing. I think there's about three jokes that make me laugh in this one. It's also a dull, typical movie that really had no place in the later seasons.
2.The Unearthly - Maybe Tor Johnson jokes are just too easy to be particularly funny. They had much better sucess with The Beast of Yucca Flats. Another dull episode that I barely remember.
3.Invasion of the Neptune Men - This episode is very similar to Prince of Space except it's not very funny. I think they were all out of Japan jokes by then. I did enjoy the guest appearance of Krankor though. A mild redeeming quality to an otherwise dull episode.
4.Zombie Nightmare - I feel that this is the most overrated episode of the entire series. People really love this one. I, however, found it to be highly unimaginative. They made metal jokes, canada jokes, and batman jokes for about an hour and a half. This one does make me laugh mildly though. I wish they would've done the other Jon Mikl Thor movie, Rock n Roll Nightmare, instead.
5.The Beginning of the End - I think after about 3 seasons they should've quit doing black and white movies from the 50s and 60s. They're all the same, and by season 5 they were really running out of ways to make fun of giant monster movies. Also, Mike really hadn't found his place in the host segments yet. I think in the Sci-Fi era they fared much better with old monster movies. Anyway, this one still provided some laughs, but I didn't think it was anything special.

Well, Hamlet's not on the list. I just admire the fact that they tried, and they had one or two good jokes. Let's see...
1) Fu Manchu. I just can't take the "put random footage in a blender and hit MIX" quality of this episode. I've only watched it once and keep trying to make myself give it another chance, but I just don't have the strength.
2-4)Gamera Vs. Whatever. I know, it's blasphemy, and I love the Gamera song and the sketch where the bots show what's inside Gamera, but I don't like the movies themselves. They go on forever and at least 40% of each one is recyled footage of Gamera fighting some other monster than the one in the title. The comic relief in these films is usually exceptionally irritating as well.
5) Hercules and the Captive Women. Again, love some of the riffs, Gypsy in the theater, and where would we be without Uranus? But whoever was playing Herc this time out has less charisma than a bowl of cold oatmeal, the "beautiful evil queen" character was just as boring, and I couldn't keep anyone straight. And the comic relief DWARF! Twice the pain at half the height! Okay, that was mean.
I find it funny that some of my very favorites are other's most hated. And yet, we all love the same thing....
You guys, this movie's not very good.

I haven't seen too much of Season 1, so this is more of a "Worst of Season 2-10". In no particular order:
Castle of Fu Manchu: The movie itself was confusing and dull, and nothing in the riffing stood out for me. I only saw this one once, so it probably deserves a second chance.
Diabolik: I feel the same way about this ep as Blackmarket Jazz does. It's not one of the worst they did (I consider it mediocre), and probably shouldn't really be on this list, but because it was their last episode, it stands out as a disappointment. Plus, it was a weird genre to end with, unlike Laserblast. On the plus side, the host segments were good.
Alien from LA: This one confuses me. On paper, it sounds like it would be a great episode: A scifi movie with an incredibly stupid concept (under the ground lives a race of aliens with Australian accents) and a supermodel with a squeaky voice who can't act. But, man, this is one of the dullest episodes - boring movie, weak riffing.
City Limits: Generally, post-apocalyptic movies make great episodes. This one, however, bored me when I saw it (Like Castle of Fu Manchu, I've only seen it once, so I need to give it another chance).
Hamlet: I'll just say that I don't hate this one as much as a lot of other people do, but I still consider it one of their weakest.
I'm sure that there are worse episodes that I can't remember because they were so dull (I seemed to remember thinking a couple of the Corman-Garland movies were weak, but I can't remember anything specific about them), so this is more a list of the "stand-out" weak episodes for me.

1) Hamlet - Won't go into bashing the episode, but it just wasn't funny.
2) Robot vs Aztec Mummy - It took me three sittings to get through it and it was relief when it was finally over. Never a good sign.
3) Blood Waters of Dr. Z - For the longest time this was the only Sci-Fi era episode I had never seen. I wish that was still the case.
4) Incredibly Mixed up Zombies Etc Etc - I think my VHS label from the original run sums it up: "Incredibly unfunny zombie episode".
5) City Limits - It's bad news when four minutes of host segments get more laughs than 80 minutes of theater time.
Honorable mentions: Undead, She Creature, Unearthly
NOTE: I've probably only seen about 75% of the shows and very little from season one, three eps I think.

There isn't an episode I hate, but here are the bottom 5. Again, in no particular order. 1. Squirm - What more can I say that I haven't said already. This movie reminds me of a very, very painful time in my life when I too got suckered into trying to fit in a nasty little deep south town with a bunch of Jesus-land religious fanatics. The girl looks very much like my ex-fiance...I have to stop now or I'm going to start throwing things. Have never been able to watch this episode all the way through due to mounting rage. 2. Diabolik - Last show. Too sad to watch. Makes me cry every time. 3. The Robot Vs. the Aztec Mummy - Bela Lugosi's short kills the mood and it goes down hill from there. Almost unwatchable due to the muddy prints , ugly people and plodding stupid plot. Even the riffing can't lift this one out of the mire. Great to watch if I want to sleep. 4. Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders - I remember Ernest Borgnine in McHale's Navy and loved it as a kid. It hurts to watch him doddering through this. I also hate patched together movies. They never work for me. 5. Gorgo - For some reason the MST3K treatment of Gorgo makes this movie unwatchable for me. I used to love it as a kid. Don't know what happened her . I thought the riffing was flat all the way through this movie. It seemed as if they all were just "mailing in" their performances. That said even these episodes are better than 99.9% of anything Hulk Hogan puts out nowadays.

Having seen around one third of the series, here's my list in no particular order:
1) Diabolik. The host segments make this significant, but otherwise it's one of the most disappointing episodes ever. Really not funny, and I have no desire to watch this one anytime soon. I don't know what's sadder: That the show had to end, or that the final episode was so weak.
2) Blood Waters of Dr. Z. This episode was just bad. I barely laughed even once, and I really wanted to turn it off. I may try it once more, but it was just awful. I was nauseated within the first half-hour. The guy's little car is the only good part.
3) The Space Children. Once again, I've only seen this one once, but I didn't like it at all. It really bored me. I'll try again, though.
4) Women of the Prehistoric Planet/most season one episodes. I haven't seen too many season one episodes, but so far they just aren't that good. The show definitely didn't hit its stride until season two. And Josh just doesn't do it for me. It has moments, but it's just too dull.
5) The Thing That Couldn't Die. Not necessarily a bad episode, but I don't care for it much. It's mostly because the movie itself just leaves me with a sickly, dirty feeling afterwards.

My bottom five in particular order:
Castle of Fu Manchu - one of the two that I remember seeing in the theatre as a young pup. An awful, terrible, slow, dull film. Boring, unfunny, painful. Speaking of pain and ugliness --
Hellcats -- more ugliness and stupidity in one film than almost any of the experiments.
Bloodlust. Uninteresting, stars Robert Reed in a poor remake of Most Dangerous Game. Blah.
Sidehackers -- for similar reasons to Hellcats but with added slime.
Angels Revenge -- yuck. Just yuck.

1. Attack of the Giant Leeches. Man, this is a chore to get through. Definitely puts me to sleep almost every time.
2. The Castle of Fu Manchu. Again, a snoozer though I appreciate the fact that the Mads acknowledge how bad it is at the end.
3. Project: Moonbase. Of all the bad season one eps this is the worst.
4. King Dinosaur. This maybe because the video quality of my copy is so poor, but I can barely make out what's going on in the movie, and what I hear isn't exactly classic Brains. Short is good though.
5. Last of the Wild Horses. A good concept is wasted. I would have loved it to see the "Real" Mads riff on this instead of some "alternate reality" good guy Mads. Pearl did it better on Delta Knights.

Along with the KTMA's I'm skipping season one also. In episode order and not definitive:
323 - Castle of Fu-Manchu Deathly boring movie and the riffing just isn't funny enough to compensate. But I like the bit at the end when the Mads put up a screen and try to riff a scene from the movie. I think that was the Brains answering their critics who say what they do is easy. "You try it!" 405 - Being From Another Planet Another lead weight movie. I just don't laugh much at it. (Interchangeable opinion with 516 - Alien from L.A.) 515 - The Wild World of Batwoman Bad dramas can be funny but bad comedies are just painful. The movie itself tries too hard to be funny and the riffing doesn't save it. But the batgirls are nice to look at. Funny short and short related host segs but the movie segments are not great. 604 - Zombie Nightmare Yeah, I know. Many people just LOVE this one. Some decent riffing but I don't find much fun in most of the crappy 80's movies. Not enough laughs for me. 907 - Hobgoblins Uuugh. What can I say? Another train wreck crapfest 80's comedy. A few laughs but I just hate this movie so much I don't think anything could redeem it. I don't remember the host segs at the moment.
But wait...there's more 321 - Santa Claus Conquers the Martians 521 - Santa Claus I react to these movies like some do to Incredibly Strange Creatures. I'm not real Christmas-y and they are just mindless kiddie movies. Some good host segs.
And... 403 - City Limits Zzzzz. 822 - Overdrawn at the Memory Bank I think a lot of the riffing in this is just the "point and laugh at the movie" variety. The PBS host seg parodies are clever and accurate but just not that funny. 1003 - Merlins Shop of Mystical Wonders Ernest Borgnine won an oscar you know. 1005 - Blood Waters of Dr. Z I need to see this one again but I just remember it as a bit dull.
Oh yeah, I'm not real fond of the middle of season seven either.

LOL! Yeah, I expected that! But c'mon, that's not too bad out of 180 or so episodes.
