Ah, give it time. You guys will come to actually like all these shows you claim to dislike so. I thought I could never like "Incredibly Strange....", but I can watch it now without cringing. Now Coleman Francis, that may take some time.

I haven't watched Angels Revenge yet, but by the description of the movie looks like it would be a good one. I'm another one who adores this episode. I never get sick of it. Maybe you'll join the ranks of those on this thread who have held their nose at it, but let it be known that this ep also has its fans.

Aztec Mummy Mad Monster Crawling Eye Rocket Attack USA Ring of Terror
I find movies that are dull to be less of an enjoyable experience unless the riffing is on par such as the Coleman Francis trilogy or Ed Wood. I bet if they had redone a couple of these eps (like they did in season 3 to the KTMA's) in the later seasons they could have salvaged them, excluding Aztec Mummy. Yawn

Angels Revenge is actually my favorite episode. I love 70s and 80s MST3K films. But a person's MST3K tastes are highly individual, so I'm not offended if someone hates it. Honestly, I could watch Angel's Revenge a dozen more times and not get (too) sick of it. It's not my favorite, but I really enjoy it. And the scenery isn't bad either.

1) Hellcats - A weak episode overall, including the lame flash-back segments.
2) The Crawling Hand - A weak choice by Rhino to release commercially. The Shatner/hand segment is incredibly unfunny IMO. The riffing is really weak (Which I've noticed in the Season 1 episodes I've seen so far, though it's understandable why like KTMA). A few great jokes, and the saving grace of Allison Hayes. 3) Moon Zero Two - Just the beginning theme song was painful.
4) The Black Scorpion - I only have six Season-1 episodes, so I went by what ones I have. I consider this a pretty good flick, and so it doens't work well with BBI's early riffing efforts.
5) The Slime People - The Cammando Cody (and, later on, The Phantom Creeps) serials are awful, even with the jokes. The movie is perfect for BBI, and I agree with what they said in TACEG, it would have been better with a full staff of writers. My choices for Season 1 are random, since all the episodes lack the polished riffing that Season 2 onward had.
Bonus: Bad Host Segments in otherwise "OK" episodes - * The "Bela's ok Discoveries" infomercial * Joey the Lemur and "The Emotional Scientest" segments * Crow's "Droppy, the Water Droplet"

I only dislike one episode of MST3K- Manos: the Hands of Fate. I cannot watch it anymore because I've seen it so many times. Maybe, in another decade I'll check it out again. Just another case of overkill, I guess.

I can't remember what order I originally put them in, so it dosen't matter:
The Dead Talk Back: Boring, boring, boring. I only laughed at ONE riff! Hamlet: Again, boring, but they did a better job with it than TDTB. Pumaman: Riffing was very disappointing, especially considering how great the material was. Future War: Same problem as Pumaman, except the riffing was even MORE disappointing. The Touch Of Satan: Boring movie, riffing wasn't that funny.

I like most of them, but the two that came to mind immediately are:
Hamlet
Jungle Goddess (though the "My White Goddess" sketch is cute)

In no particular order...
Hobgoblins: Awful movie, terrible host segments (except for the escape one) and lackluster riffing.
Kitten with a Whip: Just can't seem to watch it no matter how hard I try. Possibly because the movie isn't that bad, all things considered, or I'm just too focused on Ann-Margret.
TISCWSLABMUZ: Sucks. I don't like the movie and the riffing just doesn't cut it for me.
Catalina Caper: Again, the riffing doesn't cut it for me. Little Richard on goofballs is fun, a few host segments are OK, but there's not much else there.
Pod People: There's just nothing here for me to work with. It's a snooze fest.
I should add that I deliberately left off Hamlet and anything from Season 1.

It’s tough cuz you know your gonna put somebody’s favorite on the list. There are episodes that are awful the first time but get better with each subsequent viewing (Neptune Men). Then there are eps with the opposite effect that decay into horrid episodes (Overdrawn). Some eps have great shorts but the movie itself is unwatchable.
#1 - Any and all Colman Francis films – I think the man was truly a sociopath. Exception to Yucca Flats since the Puerto Rico short is in there.
#2 - Gorgo – Some British flicks are just too British for non-British consumption. Really hard do think of riffs from this one that made me laugh.
#3 - Blood Waters of Dr. Z – This one, Lives by Night, and Moonbeast I think are the same film which just starts and stops in random places. ILBN has some good lines, but Moonbeast is just as unwatchable. What was the Amercian movie industry doing in the 70’s? hatchka! I know it’s a sought after episode, but SciFi had reason for not playing it.
#4 - Radar Secret Service - Talk about boring. I can’t believe they didn’t peg the main bad guy’s likeness to Kurt Russell. They just weren’t trying with this one.
#5 - Wild World of Bat Woman – like watching a fever dream. I can’t believe some people actually like this one. I think people get baited into it by the title. ("you like Robert Denby?!")
One more: Laserblast – maybe I’m just bitter cuz season 7 had to end so soon, but hey really could have done a better job with his one. Roddy McDowals character is the only one I can stand watching (except for the aliens – trivia: the Static-X song Dios Alma Perdida starts out with a sample of one of the weird alien voices from Laserblast)
What else?: Atomic Brain and Creeping Terror never should have been released.
I have a friend who’s into bad moves and collects obscure Italian films. He absolutely loves Danger: Diabolik but has never seen the MST3K episode. I’ll have to hand my copy off to him cuz I could definitely do with out it.
And huzzah! That’s my first post on this forum. Uhyuhg#uhyee!

Nothing makes me laugh like MST3K, nothing! Also I can take almost any movie (almost)
So, the ones where I don't laugh at a whole bunch are....
1. Aztec Mummy 2. Hercules against the Moon Men 3. Hamlet 4. Strange Creatures 5. Batwoman
I know you don't want lists Mr. A, but my reasons are simple. I'm not laughing much. And for a show that make me laugh harder than any other, that's a shame.
Also, I spent so many years watching and reviewing these things, I doubt I'll suddenly pop on Strange Creatures and go "wow, this is great!". In fact the Herc and Hamlet are getting worse every time I watch them.
