LOL! Yeah, I expected that! But c'mon, that's not too bad out of 180 or so episodes. Yeah I know that there are so many more good episodes.

We're already seeing a large number of shows in both the "Top" and "Bottom" lists.
As a fan of "Hamlet", "Overdrawn", and "Monster A-Go-Go", I'm used to this disagreement. But listing "Girl in Lovers Lane", and "The Undead"? That's just crazy.
Anyway, here's my list:
"The Incredibly Strange Creatures..." I've beaten this to death. The movie is just plain vile. Everything about it makes me physically ill and makes me feel dirty for the experience. I'll watch Hamlet 300 more times before watching this again.
"Mad Monster" The dark movie print doesn't help the dull, lifeless plot and slooooow riffing.
"The Creeping Terror" Another unwatchable film makes for an awful episode. I know, the carpet monster is silly, but the narration and the grainy print are just too painful to be worth the time.
"The Atomic Brain" I loathe the claustrophobic "stuck in a building/island with a madman" films that Rhino seems to love releasing. This vote is interchangeable with "Killer Shrews", "Unearthly", "Bloodlust", "Terror From the Year 5000", etc.
"The Hellcats" There's a lot of Season 2 eps I just don't like. Lippert's forced perspective garbage are some of them. The biker/criminal eps are the others. Out of all of those, this is the worst.

321 - Santa Claus Conquers the Martians 521 - Santa Claus I react to these movies like some do to Incredibly Strange Creatures. I'm not real Christmas-y and they are just mindless kiddie movies. Some good host segs. Now, 521 I could understand, but 321? Really? I was kind of disappointed with 521, though I still think it's decent. SCCTM is a damn good episode, though, I'd have to say. Very surprising. Otherwise, we're kind of on the same page... at least in the same book. I'm glad to see I'm not alone on Blood Waters.

I know, it's almost sacrilegious to dislike SCCTM. But I didn't care much for it when it first aired and was surprised to find how popular it was later. The movie really makes me cringe.

You're just a rebel and an instigator. I really like some of the ones listed in this thread...so it goes.

Depressing, Boring and unfunny jokes are the key to mine. I've seen all but 2 from season 1 liked them all. Haven't seen any of the k's. Overdrawn At The Memory Bank- has a 3rd grade play quality to it. Boring and not funny. Rocket Ship XM- Depressing, lame repetitive jokes. Hamlet- Well Being From Another Planet- Like Hamlet, I wonder why it was chosen Fugitive Alien 2- Having liked the first one I was looking forward to this one, was very disappointed They are in no particular order, bad is bad. Pod People is awful too. I only watched the Hercules ones, once years ago did not like them. Will watch them again soon.

The Undead - Here is one I will definitely give another chance. It didn't do much for me at all the first time around, but Allison Hayes is a MST3K babe if ever there was one, so at least I'll have something nice to look at when I give it a second viewing. That's the first episode I ever saw and it's one of my faves - very funny, highly under-rated! My 5 Worst - Angel's Revenge Hamlet Being From Another Planet The Wild World of Batwoman Invasion of the Neptune Men

I'm not one of these fans who thinks that any run-of-the-mill MST3K episode is better than 99% of all TV programming. I think, like most things, the show follows a pretty standard bell curve. A handful or absolute gems, a handful of duds and a whole bunch of stuff inbetween. Personally, I think the only thing harder about coming up with even a bottom 20 list is that you tend to forget about the lesser shows and remember the funnier ones.
I'm kinda surprised at some of the inclusions. I think SCCTM, Angel's Revenge and Girl in Lover's Lane are all at least average. For example, I'd never mention Angel's Revenge as a "good" episode but everytime I rewatch it there are a handful of riffs that absolutely floor me.

I haven't watched Angels Revenge yet, but by the description of the movie looks like it would be a good one.

Hmmm......I will say that that the five I list below I dislike for the same reason....They just do not hold my interest......Nothing necessarily specific, I just cannot get through the entire episode.
Hamlet
The Unearthy
The Atomic Brain
Squirm
I was a Teenage Werewolf
Honorable Mention: High School Bigshot

Angels Revenge is actually my favorite episode. I love 70s and 80s MST3K films. But a person's MST3K tastes are highly individual, so I'm not offended if someone hates it.

Honestly, I could watch Angel's Revenge a dozen more times and not get (too) sick of it. It's not my favorite, but I really enjoy it.

It looks like some folks are having a tough time picking 5. Even though I like Hamlet, I know it's going to win this thread. But don't let's turn this into another Hamlet-bashing thread. Be a man (or a woman) and pick 5. I tried picking the full five, but I couldn't really say more than I said. While those other four mentioned have some shortcomings, it's nothing really worth conversation for me. I still think that those first season episodes mentioned are funny as hell. Hellcats barely gets on there, only because I can't remember it. Gamera vs. Barugon's problem for me can be summed up in two words- Josh's voice. Otherwise they're all funny pieces of television. All except Hamlet.
