I hope we see more of them in the future, perhaps if Univeral ever allows film rights we could see some Scifi era promos. There weren't really any episodics (episode specific promos) done in the Sci-Fi era, sadly. In fact, I can't recall a single one, just a generic intro and outro the sandwiched around some movie clips.

Here's a small video file of all of the title slates from 404-519. As I said, no 406, or 517 were ever shown to my knowledge. 504 is blink and you miss it, 410 goes black after a moment, and 519 lacks audio. These are how they always aired, IIRC. These are all taped by me from nearly 20 years ago, except for 502 & 503, which I just had to swipe from Youtube since I'm missing my copies. Enjoy! rapidshare.com/files/2525184694/MST3Kslates.avi

I'm pretty sure 420 & 423 had them (423 had Bela's face for a picture, IIRC). I don't recall 406 having one, though. I've been holding on to most of my old EP mode copies of the episodes just so I could preserve many of these (I always made sure to tape them) as well as the Mike era episode specific bumpers missing from the Rhino releases.
Do you have the one from "City Limits"? I only ever saw that one on a repeat airing during a marathon in September 93, never did catch it (I remember the picture was of the skullface biker). I'll get you some screencaps of these, or if you want, I can upload some AVI or MP4 video files of just these slates. (it was an important part of the show to me, I learned for the first time how TV shows numbered themselves, and helped me keep track of episodes, not to mention it helped when taping reruns)
EDIT: Just checked my tapes. 406 never had it, same goes for 517. 519 was the final one. 504 is on-screen for all of a split second for some reason, but is visible in pausing.

Peter Harrington (Pink Guy) LOVED the job MSTK3 did on Time Chasers. He even offered to take a pie for it. He is a big fan of MSTK3. I ought to know. I married him. Whoa! That's pretty cool. Does he still own the pink suit?

Looks like Wal-Mart has it cheapest currently: www.walmart.com/ip/16621491And Shout! no longer has their postcards and has hiked the price up to $64.

The set has been out of stock at Amazon since before Cyber Monday. Not "only XX left, order soon (more on the way)", nor the usual "we're pulling this because we can't pack it worth a damn and will soon put it back up" as before. Just out and out no longer in stock, so much the Amazon Marketplace goons are selling it for an inflated price now. I wonder what's up? Nothing, I hope.

"I've brought you an offering, Mister Jackson. Can I be on your new song now, please?" "AHH! HE'S GOT THE SAME HAIRSTYLE AS ME!" "Quick, grab a wooden square, try to blend in with the boxes." Early set photo from "Chattering Jaws" aka "Jaws 5: On Ice" Ever wonder how a "Lost in Space" crossover with "Married... with Children" would go? "This just in! Leaning in too close to your radio can cause permanent hearing loss." "Huh?" "What'd he say?" "I SAID, LEANING IN TOO CLOSE TO YOUR RADIO CAN CAUSE PERMANENT HEARING LOSS!!!" Legend Films to soon release "Night of the Living Dead: The Initially Muddied and Damaged Film Print Version". The "Upside Down" method of birthing never quite caught on. Obsessive Compulsive actor Donald Sutherland ruins another take when he notices a speck of dirt on the lense. Bruisy the Hemorrhagic Clown often wondered why he never got many bookings for children's parties. "Okay, now time me wear dress for picture!"

Of course, Best Brains loved Frees, at least from what I noticed in the ACEG where they denoted his voicing in some of the dubbed films once or twice.
