Mine arrived today, after only getting the shipping email yesterday. Mine also came with 2 sets of coasters. Shout must have quite a few lying around I guess.

Kinda hoped for an interview with The Band That Played California Lady. The Fish-Lipped Guy, The Eskimo, and The Friendly-Looking Backup Singer probably have some great stories.

Whoops, AMC spilled the beans there.
Wonder if they'll do the full unedited version, or if they'll cut the various gratuitous soft core sex scenes like the VOD version (I'm guessing the latter).

There's been a lot of speculation about Rebecca, with some people who have made set visits saying they can't answer due to NDAs they signed. One theory it's the new voice of Gypsy I still don't get why they're being so cagey/quiet about Gypsy. Is it possible they're trying to keep the existence of a fourth female riffer (in the form of Gypsy or otherwise) a secret?

Can anyone identify all the signatures on the postcard (assuming they're uniform)? Joel, Felicia Day, Patton Oswalt, Hampton Yount, and Baron Vaughn I recognize/can read, but there's one with an exclamation point that's indecipherable (I'm assuming it's Jonah Ray since he's the only main cast member not otherwise represented), and there's one from a Rebecca H-something. Should I know who that is?

I'm in Indiana. According to tracking, it arrived at my local post office late today, so it should be here tomorrow.

Yeah, I got the shipping confirmation for the t-shirt and postcards this morning. It was an email from something called Blackbox (with a link to FedEx tracking).

Before I actually saw the show, I thought the comments during the movie were more akin to what Beavis and Butthead (which I was a fan of at the time I first heard of MST3K and when Comedy Central got added to my local cable package) did with music videos - mostly just "this sucks" type of comments, rather than more obscure references and smarter stuff.

This is kind of a late mention since the sale ends today, but Shout is having a sale similar to the one ProjectedPaul posted about in a previous thread about the last set that offers Free Shipping plus 10% on orders over $50 ( www.shoutfactory.com/editorials-sales/editorials/it-s-a-wonderful-sale ) and the MST3K Vol XXXVIII pre-order is valid with this. The price comes to $49.97, which puts it much closer to Amazon's usual price for new sets (plus you'll get it 4 weeks early with the bonus disc).

I love ROTOR - probably one of my favorites of the VOD's.
Megaforce is more of a mixed bag for me - there's some funny stuff, but there's just endless boring scenes of vehicles rolling around and random explosions that don't exactly provide great riffing material. Mike singing the Megaforce theme at the end credits is amazing, though.

That's cool - thanks for sharing those. I was actually just thinking a few days ago when Tom Neyman died that (unlike the other main cast) there were no pictures out there of Reynolds not in his Torgo garb.

Not only that, but when Netflix auto-starts the next episode before the credits are done, if they have a stinger, most people will miss it. They could put a quick scene at the end and it would basically be an Easter egg if no one watches the credits. Generally if a TV show has something happening during the end credits, the Autostart doesn't run until the very end.

I assume it will be like The Movie, where they'll still have a couple of breaks for host segments despite not necessarily needing them anymore from a commercial standpoint.
