I was wondering why that tumblr link didn't work anymore... then I saw the post date and that's quite a thread bump. I think there was an archive of it somewhere.

I got all the Gamera ones done and the two Hercules eps that had animated menus. Though I think maybe the other two didn't have the menu treatment... mitternachtkino.blogspot.com/I've also got a couple of others done, as well.

Anyway peoples, I did get a BLOG sequence going on this very thing. I only have 3 menu ensembles at the moment. I would have more up if the menus were on youtube like Outlaw (of Gor), Squirm and a few others. Yes this is tedious work at times but this needs to be done. I just feel that this should be in existence.

I thought my request was straightforward enough as I wasn't asking what the menus were. I know they are bits from the shows, the films and the soundtracks, etc. It's in some of the menus that there are sound bits from other episodes as in the case of at least one of the Gamera offerings but there are others and that is what I was asking help for. Just in the ones I've listed so far because I have listened through the entire DVDs on some of them more than a dozen times. So yes, in a way I'm asking where some of the soundbites are in some of the eps.

The menus are pretty cute. My fave is Neptune Men! The Party Beach one is cool too - and if you click into the bonus features there's a neat video showing how they made it! Fantastic!

I wrote to someone who might be able to help. I think at this point, we all need help.

I really dislike most TV. Especially those reality shows. I watch Survivor out of a pure motivation to see assholes get booted out. Most everyone on Survivor is an asshole. But I really loved some TV shows, like MST3K. Hercules: The Lengendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess and I really loved The 4400. Other shows I liked are the Star Trek series.

How many here can pinpoint where all the bits come from in the episodes;
Crawling Eye, Final Sacrifice, Blood Waters of Dr Z, Moon Zero Two, The Day The Earth Froze, Untamed Youth, The Pumaman
Actually in some, the bits sound more like a sound effect rather than something actually in the episode. But some of these really bother me as I have been keeping track. Yeah, it's oddly picky of me.
But I do want to make a blog.
For example in Untamed Youth, I think some of those sound bits are from the film itself that may not have been shown in the episode. Like Mitchell was done.
Really need some feedback.

And BTW to balance out the hilariously bad "Let the Engines Roar" track, there is actually a far superior song about vehicular speeding by The Go Go's and for years I have wondered what the lyrics are in one part of the song. Maybe someone can help? The great song in question is " Speeding". Had the Go Go's recorded the Engines Roar song, they'd have drums in it beating the hell out of that static drum track by putting it to shame, the rhythm would have been given a much better bass line and the horns would have been replaced with an electric guitar. But would they have sung the words in the same way to make way for Joel to still come up with "ninny on the road now"?

First photo; background of the scenery from StarGate SG1 TV Series. Episode: The Devil You Know.
Second photo; A promotional still from Galaxy Quest.
Third photo; A scene from Star Trek TOS. Episode: Who Mourns for Adonais?
Fourth photo; A scene from Clash of the Titans as background.
Fifth photo; One of my all time favorite backgrounds. I don't know who made it though. I used it for many pics. The guy in the pic is CV, a friend of mine.

I made these years ago with that PictureIt program. I literally spliced the original pics onto backgrounds that I chose...

These are really nice! I used to have a program called PictureIt! 9, but local computer repairman is an idiot who somehow lost that program for me. It came with my MSN disc a long time ago and I never deleted it. But something went wrong with my computer and I asked him to save everything. The jerk only saved all of what was on my desktop. None of the apps or programs. I was devastated. I had to grab the original PictureIt 7 program that I still had on my MSN disc. But over the years (when PI was still a product they maintained) I got the updates. But now it's not even around anymore.
Why am I lamenting about this?
Anyway, great artwork! I made some artwork. Let me figure out how to share that. I should also create another blog for just that purpose.
