Good question since that information isn't found anywhere on the box. Here goes:
Godzilla vs. Megalon: Photo Gallery, 41 mostly behind-the-scenes-pictures from the whole run of the series
Swamp Diamonds: No extras
Teen-Age Strangler: 15 minutes of out takes
Giant Spider Invasion: Jukebox as detailed above

I was on Rhino.com & they have a picture of the dvd with information on vol. 10, they also have videos from 3 of the 4 shows up to, here is a link: (the link has over videos from other sets) www.rhino.com/retrovid/VideoKeeper.lasso?Artist=MYSTERY%20SCIENCE%20THEATER%203000For 514-Teen-age Strangler they just use the opening to the show? I really do not know why? But vol. 10 will come out this tuesday & it is about Monday. So it is really close & I can't wait. I am getting my copy at Sam Goody. I had to pre-order from them because Best Buy & Hastings said that they were not getting it. But I will have my copy on tuesday after I get done with my classes at college.

I got my copy today. The photo gallery is actually very nice. Many I've never seen before. The "Poopie! II" is only 15 minutes, but still good. And there are 15 song skits (Just like "Play MSTie For Me"). Overall, a nice batch of extras. The cover, of course, sucks. The dinosaur with the dog tag cover would have worked if they had included FUTURE WAR. While I know Swamp Diamonds is PD, the short "What To Do On A Date" actually had to be licensed! The disc art is themed for each episode (and, for once, they're actually numbered in the correct episode order!!). Godzilla vs. Megalon - sushi (pretty lame IMO) Swamp Diamonds - a pair of handcuffs Teen-Age Strangler - an old fashioned phone Giant Spider Invasion - a garden spider The menus are ok, the Giant Spider Invasion one has some bad-looking CGI spiders running around.

I think he's referring to how difficult it supposedly should've been for Rhino to get the rights to it. Or something along those lines.

Toho (Godzilla's corporate owners) has viscous man-eating lawyers. We Godzy experts haven't heard anything about a Krypton International, and we've got an almost perfect map of who owns the Godzilla licenses in the US. I suppose it's possible that when Goodtimes (GvM previous licensers) dissolved Krypton gobbled up the rights...
Anyhow, I'll be sure to get this set this week!

I've only watched Giant Spider Invasion so far. There is some artifacting during the beginning segments, but it's not distracting. You can see the limitations of the tape master they used for the movie itself (which is common, depending on how old the source was). Goodtimes/Gaiem sold their movie library, so yeah. I think Krypton may have bought the rights that way. They're such an obscure company, and the only other movies we know they have are Women of the Prehistoric Planet (which is owned by Wade Williams) and Teen-Age Strangler (put out on DVD by Something Weird Video/Image). I'm glad I got my set, since it's still possible it may get pulled.

What I would like to know is where are you folks getting your copy early? I'd imagine it was a pre-order deal. Some places ship pre-ordered items just before the release date, as far as I know.

What I would like to know is where are you folks getting your copy early? I pre-ordered, as I have with all of the sets, through Deep Discount DVD. It shipped from DDD on Friday, presumably so it would arrive on or very soon after Tuesday for all customers. I live in the same state (heck, the same metro area...), so mine arrived Monday instead. It doesn't always work that way - vol. 8 (iirc) didn't actually ship until the Monday before release; I got it Thursday.

I pre-ordered from DDD last week and it hasn't shipped yet. Hm. I ordered mine on the 11th. Maybe that's part of it?
