My Lord, you people love to argue! Why can we not just all get along? Isn't this the argument clinic?

Isn't this the argument clinic? Seems like that doesn't it? Of course, I enjoy arguing with you guys since you all have brains that function properly. I hate arguing with ignorant, uninformed people. They make me angry. Plus, it relieves stress and helps you get to know your companions better. Servo

"We live in the time where we have fictitious election results that elect a fictitious president."- from Moore's Oscar Speech. Well, that's an attack, and whether you like Bush or not, those simply are not the facts. He was elected based on the election rules of the United States Consitution- he had more electoral votes. Even after an embarrassing amount of recounts, the guy won Florida. So he lost the national popular vote- it doesn't matter. Hey Moore, this America you're so fervent about defending? Try reading its constitution. Boy, I was so glad that this thread had disappeared for a while. Bush wasn't elected. He was appointed and he didn't win floridia. Gore won by 100 + votes, but Gore lacked the balls to keep pushing for a fair count and the media attacked him hard for it. So he quit and let Bush become president. The results are in Floridia's capitol, its just no one has the gal to push it.

I mean, about a million damn people couldn't figure out what happened and, well, no one really seemed to be pushing for it. I'm glad Mr. Moore, in his infinite wisdom, was the one man who had it all figured out. I'd still love to see what Gore would have done after September 11. I'm sure that would've been wonderful. We'd have all the terrorists by now, I'm certain. Please..... Servo

Wow. I don't know where to begin with this. So I won't. I'm all for conspiracy theories, but wow. ***walking away slowly*** Cool Sampo!!! I love conspiracy theories too!!! Like, JFK was an alien who was sleeping with, not only Marylin Monroe, but Joe DiMaggio too!!! And we never landed on the moon, that was filmed in a studio in Gary, Indiana!!! And they also found out that, contrary to popular belief, the Grant buried in Grants Tomb is not Ulysses S. Grant but in fact is Cary Grant. That's weird, wild stuff man, But, I ramble, Servo

The one thing you people forget is the 2nd Amendment was instated for building a effecient militia during the Revolutionary War, It wasn't to have much use after that. The reason people say that we need guns is from watching too much TV. TV is the basis of all our fears in America, ever notice that the news mostly focuses on negative stories? That's because we eat it up. Canadian news is way different, they focus on country issues. Michael Moore was only saying that we buy guns because we fear everyone around us, do you unlock your doors at night? I don't because I don't fear for my life and resort to a pistol to protect where a freak accident occurs (Manslaughter) and it happens. This all dates back to an American right that's 200 years belated. Television has caused more violence, music has too, and politics in 50 years then any other occurence.
Face it, your fear is being controlled by the media

I find it so humourous that all these are democratic ran websites and that none of them agree on the exact numbers in any way, shape, or form. I mean, it's done. Hell, it's not the first time it's happened, it won't be the last. How do you think Thomas Jefferson became president? He didn't win the popular vote. In fact, I really haven't heard anyone complaining about the outcome of the 2000 election since it, except Michael Moore. But, he has that right. Servo

I hear about it all the time, its just that no one wants to investigate (broadcast it on the national news) the rigged election because they dont believe that a republican run election committee would be biased enough to steal the election. We don't want to think that the US can be so undermining.
And the fact news editors (not reporters) are about 90% conservitives.
They might be democratic websites, but the election in florida was completely headed by republicans.
Even the NAACP along with other civil rights groups reconise that the Florida election was rigged, but I guess that doesnt matter since blacks vote 90% democratic anyway.
Gore won case closed. Bush wont win in 04.

Gore won case closed. Bush wont win in 04. A)That's why he's doing such a great job leading our country now. Ever read that book he wrote, about the blind rabbits of Patagonia? He also invented the internet. I'm sure he'd be doing a great job. B)Who the hell's gonna run against Bush? I haven't seen any two Democrats that agree on one candidate. In fact the only thing I've seen Democrats agree on is that all their candidates are chumps. Ahhh, who cares? This argument is getting stale and stalemated. Servo

He said he helped bring the internet along and dont even start with quotes. I can give you tons of bush quotes which surpass that one completely. .. Like there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq... they have bought uranium from africa... etc etc.. and wheres the proof? At least Im backing up my arguments. Kerry has one every single primary minus two, south carlonina, and ok. Which I think he came in second in both anyway. I think the people have decided. At least he went to war and knows what it is.

Well, at least there is some idea that there should be some weapons of some sort in Iraq. Hell, we gave em to them back in the 80's when we were trying to depose the Ayatollah. I hate Al Gore. He's a liar. Read his book. It's complete garbage that he claims to be truth. He actually states that there is an island, close to Antartica, inhabited by rabbits that, because of the hole in the ozone, are blind, as well as other animals on the island. He even says he's been there. Does this island exist..... no. Everyone get misquoted every now and then. He wrote a damn book of falsehoods. And you know, they have proofreaders.
And the Democrats, not people in general have decided. I just don't want another Bill Clinton.
