It took Joel over 10 years to get back on track with a riffing project, I can wait a few extra weeks. So can I, but with this credit card juggling they seem to be doing, I'm still going to put off ordering until people get theirs and they verify that they work, etc. As mentioned before, this is the first CT release, but not for the company handling it. Once it's cleared up and looks OK, I'm ordering.

This is very "Pot calling the Kettle black" but.... I have added an entry in my Palm Pilot for January 8th as "Official CT Freak Out", so we shall see Form a nerdier sentence, no wait, you can't, that's impossible. *SMiRK* Sorry.. had to call you out on that one... Ha-ha. But that was a total joke on my part; I did not put in any entry like that for the 8th. It was the 10th.

There I was, trying to watch 'To Catch A Predator' in the comfort of my own home, and in the background Mary Jo, Trace, Joel, Josh, and Frank were yammering at me to 'Just break the ice. Once people see you order on-line, they'll come flocking! We'll all be rich!' Oddly, this is how I picture it- all the Titans just lounging around Rad's house on any given day. No particular reason, they're just there. It'd better be like for the Meet-up.

They authorized your card when you placed the order, just to make sure you were good for it. Those authorizations expire in a few days, usually. They probably won't actually charge your card until it ships. Pretty normal practice; nothing shady or unusual about it.

Hotels usually do it, to "reserve" the cost of the bill on your card, and prevent overdrawing on the account. Ironically enough, my hotel bill and it's "phantom charge" from Denver did in fact overdraw my card.

And yet you still love the man. Better than a "phantom discharge."

And it's one day closer to the official "freak out" day! ;D Anyhoo, I'm hoping that they'll learn from this and the next release will be a lot smoother...

I love how we all agree (across multiple forums as well) the the EZ-Takes staff consists of 1 person and whoever he can get to help that day.
"MOOOooooommMMM! The orders are stacking up again! Can you help me burn more Discs?!"
"Jeeze sweetie, not only do I let you use my basement as your apartment/office, and tie up my mailbox and phone line, but now you want me to work on the computer too!?"
