I only troll for you, big guy. But I'm surprised that you didn't spruce up that image a bit. Maybe Photoshop a Sakic jersey on him?
And you're right about the Coyotes.

I'm honored Mr. A You won't believe this, but Joe Sakic is one of my favorite players. He was skilled, classy and tough. I really respected him as a competitor. I'd love to see him as a coach somewhere.

Great second period by the Pens has turned this into a series. Love to see it go 7.

Red Wings finally looked very impressive. Getting Datsyuk back really helps.

I agree. Pittsburgh had a strong start to the game but after that the Wings dominated. I wish the game had been closer for the sake of the NHL and NBC. I expect ratings fell substantially as the game went on with casual fans tuning out.

They probably did tune out. After the first period, the Wings pulled away. The choppy play at the end doesn't help either; most casual fans seem to be(from all I've heard, anyway)turned off by the goonery.

I turned it off. The Pens played like utter poop and was an embarrassment to itself, fans, everything. I was insulted and appalled. Ugh. UGH! How can you play as well as they did on Thursday night, turn around and play like a sick hybrid of the Flyers and Islanders for 2 periods?
I don't think it was so much of Detroit 'pulling away' as it was the Pens completely rolling over and dying. I'm disgusted. Can you tell? Ugh.

Game 7 Friday night should be a good one. I expect the series to hold true to form and the Wings to win. Regardless of the winner of the series, the big winner is the NHL. This series should reel in new fans to and more respect for my favorite sport.

And it finally isn't up against basketball or any other sport.

The only thing better than a game 7 in the Stanley Cup finals would be triple OT in game 7.
And the only thing better than that would be Osgood accidentally putting the puck in his own net in the 3rd OT to lose game 7.
(please God, make it happen)

(please God, make it happen)Would Lidstrom putting it into his own net by bouncing it in against Osgood do? Like Steve Smith bounced it in off of Fuhr late in the third during game seven of the 1986 finals. I saw that live on TV and will never forget it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DbP7wqCwq8

Welcome to the fulfilling world of NHL fandom. And good for you for not choosing the dark side. Although I can't imagine any sports fan in Ohio cheering for a team from Michigan. Of course, crowfan is from Chicago and cheers for the Packers and the Red Wings...
