Claire's scenes with Noah are getting really boring. Then again, Claire herself is boring.
Hm. Will Sylar stay Sylar?

I don't know, I actually don't mind the Claire/Noah scenes. I don't know why, but they don't bore me. Maybe it's just because she's pretty Another pretty good episode. We learned a little something about Nathan, and Sylar let the cat out of the bag, getting himself/Nathan killed in the process. The conversation between Angela and that other woman was pretty well done. Samuel knows Noah. Interesting. I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I also like how they're allowing time for characters to breathe. No Matt this week and essentially no Sylar. They're taking their time, which is good.

The Oct. 5 episode was probably their strongest of the season. They really seem to be setting up a "blank Sylar" vs. "Matt with inner Syler" somewhere down the road. Zach Quinto has an interesting dual role to play this season.
The whole Gretchen having a crush on Claire thing would have been pretty cool if every news outlet hadn't been talking about this storyline since before the season began. Still, poor Gretchen. She ends up being accused of murder and every other thing and all she did was think Claire is cute (no crime in that).
And I liked the bit with the invisible girl (who I thought might turn out to be Claude from the first season until she became visible). Simple and twisty. Good enough for me.

Gah, I don't really find Claire attractive, so I don't even get that from her. The invisible girl angle is interesting, makes me wonder what's up with the Circus (It feels rather Ray Bradburyesque) But I am at the point where I can't stand to see Claire or Gretchens face - the 2 bug me (even if Gretch is simply crushin' she's annoying)
But it's saved by Sylar, Quinto did nice work and his were the best stuff for me. The deaf gal I have to wait on, the scenes with her and Petrelli have an odd rhythem - I don't know how else to describe it, but their scenes together feel forced? Contrived? Awkward?

I'm falling behind again! I hope hulu keeps episodes online for a while because I'll have three to catch up on after next week.

Interesting episode. Circus boy better watch out, no one has tamed Sylar for long so far.
I'm glad to see that Charlie's returning next week (maybe - considering how they skip around).
I can't see the previews online, so I don't know what they revealed but I'm very curious about the next ep.

I'm liking the references to the first season. Hiro looking for Charlie and Sylar's flashbacks of some of his early murders. Gave it a nice connected feel to everything.
The other thing it did for me was make me realize how much of an impact those first season episodes had. When Hiro arrived at the Burnt Toast Diner and we see who appears to be Charlie through the window, it reminded me of that awesome vibe the first season had.
So far the season has been quite good. Better than much of the last two.

That was a slower episode, but not bad. The bit with Claire and Gretchen and the whole initiation thing – I haven't liked the whole sorority thing from the beginning, so that definitely didn't do it for me. Seems Clarie's secret is out now, though, which is kind of what she wanted in the first place. The HRG/Tracey sideline with Jeremy wasn't bad, but the kid playing Jeremy started to wear thin with me. I was happy Samuel showed up at the police station after what happened, though. I was hoping somebody would have done something. I still find the carnival interesting. And I know she's not the greatest actress in the world, but Ali Larter looks great Very much looking forward to next week's episode, which will apparently feature Charlie, Hiro and Sylar all in the past. I'm really liking the references to the first season. Here's hoping this plot line will fit right in.

That's not a surprise at all. It's expensive to make and the critics and most fans have turned on it 180 degrees. At least they'll apparently get a chance to try and end it. That's more than My Name Is Earl ever got.

I liked seeing Charlie again, but I had some problems with the episode.
Mainly, I didn't thought the "three years ago" characters were jibing too well with their current counterparts. Sylar seemed like he talked more in this episode than he did in half his episodes in the first season combined. He seemed much more current season Sylar, which was odd. He was also manipulated by Hiro awfully easily.
Samuel taking Charlie and hiding her in time was pretty cool, though. About the only way he could get Hiro to do his bidding. And speaking of that, Mohinder makes a brief appearance. What's going on with that? I'm actually intrigued by what went down between those two.

Damn, I didn't see Mohinder, NBCs website has been real twitchy of late, half the time the episode freezes up and I have to start all over again and try and locate where I left off!
I'm not sure I cared for the ep, it was nice to see Charlie and she and Hiro had some good scenes but overall…
What was with the Noah affair, that seemed out of the blue and unnecessary, unless it was something they did brush upon in season 1 (can't remember)
The time travel stuff has always been wonky, but it here it was especially weak and illogical – and at the end, hell why didn’t Hiro just give circus boy the finger, time travel back and then grab Charlie and blink her to another part of the world (it would freak her out but better that than being kidnapped) by then the other time traveler would be dead and he and Charlie are safe for the time being.
The confrontation with Sylar was a let down, not very clever, not much dramatic impact.
I was looking forward to this ep but it didn't deliver.

The episode was kinda boring. If they're trying to get somewhere, they'd better do it faster so people don't lose interest, seeing as they may be cancelled.
Bad continuity too: Sylar was a little more clean-cut when he cured Charlie, then when Hiro popped him back onto the street, he was a little more scruffy again.

So the Haitian's name is Rene. Ah. Is this the first time we've heard this or did they say it in an earlier episode? So Noah and Rene can just walk around a college campus and enter any room they like, even a sorority house, no questions asked. No one stopping them. I guess the Haitian makes anyone forget they see them walking around? (But then, he's not always with Noah when he's just popping in on Claire every two seconds). They kind of ruined the suspense for next week with the preview for it. I gotta learn not to watch those things.

I liked the ending. And I can't remember, did Sylar steal Nathan's power of flight? It kind of surprised me the way he took off like he did, but then I realized I probably lost track of what happened in last season's finale. I'm also glad they reminded me that Angela, Bennett and Matt are the only ones who know that Nathan is now Sylar, or vice versa or whatever. They kind of ruined the suspense for next week with the preview for it. I gotta learn not to watch those things. I didn't see the preview, but that used to be a problem for me, too. They haven't been really bad about spoiling things lately. Glad I missed it
