From Devil Doll:
Mark confronts an exhausted Vorelli, just after Vorelli and Hugo mix it up...
Servo (as Vorelli) "I'm sweaty because I was just choking the puppet. No, wait!"

The Deadly Mantis.
Newspaper: Fear of Mantis Mounting. Tom: I'd fear Mantis mounting too.

When "That Girl" grabs the vibrating handle with both hands in The Castle of Fu Manchu and Crow says "Oooh yes! Oooh yes!" (Joel even scolds him for that, but then gets scolded himself by Servo a couple scenes later for the aforementioned bicycle seat joke.)

I thought the "It's blue" line was a reference to a home-pregnancy test, as in "I'm pregnant"... That's exactly what it did mean. I dunno. "Blue" means "really dirty/hardcore/raunchy/etc." For instance: Hard-Core Porno, The Aristocrats Joke, Bob Saget's stand-up, 2 Live Crew, etc. can all be considered "Blue"

I guess we'll have to remember to ask the Mads about it sometime.

I never thought of the "it's blue" thing being anything but a pregnancy test result. It's exactly the sort of thing you would need to use Bittersweet Hearts to tell someone about. Just sayin'.

I saw it again. I have the DVD of MST3K Invention Exchanges (from Cheepnis) and "It's Blue" isn't even said. But "You'll Do" is. Perhaps "You'll Do" has been misheard as "It's Blue".

Don't have the Cheepnis DVD, so I don't know how the exchanges are presented on it, but "It's Blue!!" is definitely exclaimed by Joel right before Movie Sign and the guys rushing off into the theater. I think "You'll do" comes during the actual invention exchange itself, so maybe "It's Blue" didn't even make it onto the Cheepnis DVD since it was more of the button to the host segment and not really part of the explanation of the invention.

Just as an update on the whole "SweetHearts" history (the actual SweetHearts), I heard on NPR that there's a new saying for this year's candies.
"TWEET ME"
I'm not kidding...

In ATTACK OF THE EYE CREATURES.... During the infamous "Idiot Peeper Twins" scene: The "Rat-Faced" guy & the "Mincing Pudgy" guy are oogling at "Smoochers" when Lt. "Pink-Young-Houseboy" enters. "PINK YOUNG HOUSEBOY": Alright! What's up?! JOEL AS "PEEPERS": Me, sir!
"SMOOCHER GIRL": OOOHH! When you kiss me, I feel explosions! "PUDGY": When HE kisses her, I feel 'Explosions', too! JOEL: Y'know, you're one sick MammaJamma!

YES! INDEED! Y'see, my Cheepnis footage stops after Dr. Forrester says "I think people should talk to each other...." However, I went to The Web ('The INFORMATION SUPERHIIIGGGHWAY!!!') & saw the scene in full. Forrester makes that statement, tells Frank to push the button, cut to Joel as he reads the heart, "IT'S BLUE?!". Movie Sign comes up with the usual hollers, bells, whistles & hallway sequence. Yes, it's a "Pregnancy Test" joke.
