Just got back from RiffTRax live in Sterling Heights, MI. The theater was JAMMED. The show was great and the crowd was really into it. I talked to the manager of the theater and he said the response was great and he's hoping they plan some more events like this. Great job guys!

Great show! I took my parents and they loved it too! We did have some issues with the live feed early on in the short (picture kept freezing then went to black) but it was soon remedied and everything was great!
Our theater wasn't even close to full though, and this particular theater saw fit to place us in their smelliest screening room, but the people that were there were definitely enthusiastic MSTies, so the energy was there!
I would definitely do this again!

I had a great time too. The sound was "off" by about a second (similar to a badly dubbed movie) from the beginning, through the short & commercials. Then we had about a 5 minute blackout, then, jump to about 30 seconds into Plan 9. From there on the sound was synced up correctly.
Very funny short (Flying Stewardesses) by the way. The phony commercials were excellent too.
The room was about half full...

I think our sound was synched pretty well throughout the evening. We did have a few short freeze ups and a short black out (a few seconds each). Overall the technology worked well.

Saw it at the Plymouth Meeting 12 theater outside of Philadelphia! Pretty full, there was a gentleman in the dead center, front row, wearing a red jumpsuit. If you are a member here, then "Hello!"
Everything was great! The only two negatives were the brief blackouts (only a few during the short) and the host. She can't remember the guy's names?
Let's have another one, boys!

We too had the occasional hiccup, but the movie was smooth. I forgot how much fun it is to be amongst a group of intelligent nerds.
There were more people at this than the showing of G.I. Joe I went to on opening weekend-a mostly full theatre. Yay!
A personal thing-I ran into two dear friends from high school that I hadn't seen in years. Nerds returning to the mothership!

Delurking because I remember the code, the sneaky part, but I'm not remembering the link. Was it this? www.rifftrax.com/plan9The show was great, and I think their site is getting slammed!

I was really surprised at how many people showed up at my theater! I was afraid I'd be there all alone but the theater was about 3/4 full. Like everyone mentioned so far, there were a couple brief freezes during the short. We had a big downpour about halfway through the film and lost the signal for a good 10-15 minutes. The audience was full of true blue MsTies though so we riffed the "please stand by" screen until it came back. The theater gave us movie passes for our trouble. I read an article that said they plan to do this about once a year if it's successful but I hope it's a bit more often than that!
As a side note, I'll betcha 5 dollars the Rifftrax website is crashed by morning with all the eager theater goers trying to claim their free stuff.

Now the real work begins: getting on the Riffrax website to get my free junk. The website is definitely acting wonky right now.

We had a great time at the show. Ran into DonnaSadCatLady and her husband. During the short, we lost the picture briefly twice, but the show itself was great!!! While the theater wasn't packed, we had a good crowd and they all were really into it. I laughed so hard that my sides are still hurting. I really hope the Rifftrax crew decides to do this again!!!

Pure gold, and I made a Rifftrax/MST3K fan out of my dad.

Just got back a little while ago. Good job guys!! Made me laugh, and as anyone who reads my posts knows, Rifftrax is usually hit or miss with me. Hope they do this again.
The feed was pretty good where I was. Not many glitches. A few freeze ups, but only a second or two here and there.
Good crowd, not completely full, but almost.
Someone brought a homemade Crow to the theater, which everyone applauded when he brought it in.
Had fun.

Saw it here in Chicago (along with a large crowd)--tremendous fun! Several times I had uncontollable tears of hilarity streaming down my face!

Saw it at the AMC 20 in Leawood, KS. It was glorious! A great time. There were a couple of digital breakups during the short and a few other places, but it was fixed quickly. The theater was definitely full-ish -- lots of MST fans!
We'll see if more events like this come along; definitely hoping, though.
