Seeing as how no one's responded to my first contest idea, I've decided that that's a nonstarter, so I shall start up another contest.
I'm going to post a picture of someone who at one time starred in an MST3k experiment, whether it was a film or a short. It will not be a picture from the experiment, but instead, another picture of them at some other point in their lives. Most of these obviously will be recent photos of actors in old movies, but not all of them. Some may be easy, some may not. (I have tried my best to ensure that these photos are who I say they are, but mistakes can happen.)
The first person to provide the correct response will get a point. At the end of the contest, I shall randomly select a winner from all the people scoring points, with each point providing one chance. So the more points you have, the better chance you have to win!
Each photo will contain someone who played a starring role, or had a scene-stealing role in the film, so I'm not going to post some random extra from Hercules, for instance, but I may post a picture of someone with a role similar to the extremely angry shopkeeper in The Brute Man or John Carradine in Red Zone Cuba.
I am hoping to post at least one photograph a day, and hopefully more if people respond quickly. Either way, I will announce the contest winner at the end of the month.
The winner will receive his or her choice of TEN (10!) episodes of MST3k on standard DVD format, or SIX (6!) episodes on Blue-Ray format from our generous colleague, Skyroniter. You can find his website at www.mst3kvideos.com .
