I'll probably check out the first episode beforehand, but I'll save the rest to watch on Netflix.
Be sure to click that link he provided for Rifftrax goodies- they've actually added more stuff to it. Cat Women of the Moon VOD, Safety with Animals short, and MP3 commentaries for Iron Man and Twilight.

Already own their Twilight riff (it's still my favorite Rifftrax after all these years), but really had no interest in the Iron Man riff they did. For the most part I found movies that cheeky and humored don't work well for the format, but I guess I'll have to check it out if it's free.
The VOD sounds delightful though. I might look into that later tonight.

Apparently Ivan clarified that the live stream will happen Sunday April 9th and not the 8th. So sad face on waiting another day.

Ditto here, although I'll probably fire up ep 1 one day and let it play through to give the Netflix numbers a boost. I'll probably watch ep 1 at midnight when it opens up. Should be super fun--it's actually how I've always watched MST3K, late at night, with a beer, going all the way back to the midnight reruns on Comedy Central where I saw my first ep ever in college in 1993.

It does sound like they're releasing all the eps to us and then to Netflix, which I guess can't be helped. I still think it's a little sad that they won't be rolled out 1 at a time. I mean, what's the point of having a christmas episode that doesn't come out at christmas?!! Oh well. I plan on watching them slowly over the coming year and enjoying every single one.

Don't see the problem with making them available all at once. You can watch then at whatever pace you prefer. Nobody is forcing them to be watched all at once.

Same here, after a 14-week process of releasing episodes, everyone would be in the process of having them for bingeing. Available all at once is their inevitable and permanent state, why not just skip to that process rather than doling them out one at a time.

The board is planning on weekly discussions for the new episodes, so while everyone can watch at their own pace it will help accommodate those who want to run through at a slower pace.
Plus it might help encouraging more viewings to keep the show trending.

To be fair, Netflix did try going the "weekly episode" route with their original mini-series Between. I don't think it worked out that well and the show sucked regardless which explains why they've stuck to the all at once approach. Regarding the corrected dates, I'm ahead of a lot of you so the previous ones still seem accurate.

Yeah, it'll probably take me a while to get through all 14 episodes. I never seem to find time these days.

Looks like four more classic episodes have been added to the VHX reward collection. They are Girl in Gold Boots, Girl in Lover's Lane, Hercules Unchained and Hercules and the Captive Woman. Guess you can never have too much of a good thing.

I enjoy all of those episodes AND Girl in Lover's Lane is my favorite Joel episode. I'm cool with this.

My brain can't process this. Anyway, are there instructions somewhere on how to download these new episodes AND play them back on a regular TV, not this tiny computer screen?
