It would be sweet if Rifftrax did some of those horrible "SyFy" original movies.

Clean Slate starring Dana Carvey. If I hadn't been with a group of people (or if I wouldn't have needed a ride home afterwards) I would have left the theater after about 10 minutes. I remember sitting there after about a half hour, realized I probably still had another hour before it was over, and finally TRULY understood the meaning of the word "despair". The same thing happened to me, but with The Master of Disguise. I still think that Dana Carvey can be very funny, and at the time was so looking forward to his triumphant return. Well I am still waiting.

Born and raised here. Actually I have never been anywhere else for more than four days. So I really have nothing to compare it to. A bit sheltered I guess. If you like the color green, you will love Portland. I actually find opening the windows and listening to the rain very soothing. If you want to go to a movie theater and watch a movie while drinking a pitcher of excellent beer while waiting for your pizza to be delivered to your seat (there are tables between the rows of seats so there is lots of leg room). Thats available. We have everything from hippys to rednecks. You are just as likely to be driving behind a VW bus with liberal bumper stickers all over it, as a pickup truck with a dead elk in the back and a confederate flag in the rear window.
I must say that we do have a kick ass library system though.
As for finding a job in your skilled profession, sadly I have no advice as I do not work in that field.
I personally will live here my whole life.
P.S. - Just to let you know I am officially a "weird guy". Most oregonians are perfectly normal.

I watch everything on a PC. I have three different configurations though.
The easiest one is using the svideo out to a twenty year old 26" TV set. Instead of speakers I feed the audio to the TV input. Set up the svideo to clone, and you can't tell if you are watching a PC or a DVD player. With zoomplayer set to use the overlay you can even minimise the player and still use the PC normally on the PC monitor without effecting the picture on the TV.
The second is a 32" LCD that I use as my regular PC monitor. Just fullscreen the player and you are watching a 32" TV. Most LCD TV's will accept a VGA input. Or use a newer PC that can output a HDMI signal. And you still have all the other regular inputs on the LCD for regular use.
The last one is a digital projector that is basically just a LCD monitor to the PC, but it projects a 130" screen on the wall. It simply is a big 1280X720 computer screen. Feed the digital audio from the PC to a reciever and you have a home theater. The PC upscales anything you watch to 720p. Even DAP avi encodes look good five feet tall. And once again the projector will still have inputs for a DVD player or sat/cable box for regular TV use.
Many laptops have svideo and VGA out. So many people may just need a few cables for any one of these configurations.

I have all the episodes of Summer Heights High. Just after watching episode #1 I knew that I could easily blow through this series very quickly. So I have restrained myself to make it last a little longer. I hope they make a second season. I will try to see if I can find We Can Be Heroes tonight. Thanks for letting me know about it.

Summer Heights High A wee gem of a comedy from Australia. The series is done fly-on-the-wall style and follows three people through a term of school, all played by the guy who wrote it. Very funny. I too love this show. I have only watched the first three episodes (three times each). I think there are only eight episodes, so I am taking my time to completely enjoy them. Gonna buy me a "Tsunamarama 06" T-shirt. Also watching Kenny vs Spenny. It (Kenny) can get a bit mean at times, but a very funny show.

We used to have peacocks freely roaming here at the Oregon zoo for years until some stupid kid tried to pick one up and the poor peacock defended itself. Now we have them no more. Another childhood memory destroyed by people who try to childproof the world, instead of teaching their children to respect animals (or other people for that matter).
Boy that sounds bitter, but the peacocks were there for 40 or so years with no problems till then.

I don't think ICWXP should even be classified as an iRiff. Their production is above all the other "fan releases" by a mile. I feel that they surpass cinematic titanic and especially rifftrax. The effort they put in really shows. We all love the old guys, but they are being out worked by ICWXP. Lets just hope that they can keep the quality up to the standards they have been. Four or five movies in it may be a different story (I sure hope not though).

If the live shows don't feature the shadowrama (sadly I have never been), they could always do like rifftrax and just release an audio track. Of course the movies would need to be available on DVD. Or release the movie on DVD with the CT live performance as an additional audio track like riftrax has also done.
I enjoy CT more than rifftrax because of the studio work. I must say though. After seeing the effort put forward by ICWXP (host segments, a premise, shadowrama) that CT needs to do more, not less to really succeed.

ICWXP Lady Frankenstein and Bloody pit of Horror. I must agree that ICWXP have really nailed it. I am a fan of rifftrax and cinematic titanic, but these guys have something that I feel is missing in the other projects. They have that interaction with each other that feels so natural and unforced. I also feel that the host segments add to the character development. I can't wait for their next episode.

I have all the DVD's. Everything else I have gotten from the DAP. I have all of them either in .iso or .avi files on a hard drive. I then use a program called meedio to organize and display them. I can watch any episode with the click of my remote.

I have to say that I prefer the old bad movies. I also feel that the Crow and Servo personas gave the riffers more freedom to be outrageous, and to enjoy certain liberties that would not be as accepted from a real person.
