Squirm:
Mike referring to the police officer with the wavy hair.
"Round' here, we comb our hair into waves."
And not a riff, but the nerdy title character yelling about a worm being in his "egg cream" cracks me up for some reason. It's just such a ridiculous sounding situation that it gets to me.
And the girls mom in Squirm: "I just don't want you to be disappointed if he doesn't come."
Girl: Mom! That's private!

Puma Man:
(Mike referring to Donald Pleasance)
He's basically an old baby.
Warrior of the Lost World:
(Servo upon seeing the fascist-like black suited guards standing on buildings)
Had Bush been reelected.
Pod People:
(Servo's entire monologue about the radio program Hearts of Space upon hearing the New Age music in the movie.)
"First up on Hearts of Space, John Tesh with ‘Whispering Firestorm.” Then it’s Yanni with “Snoremaster of Trafalgamar.” Then comes Bay Area musician Del Mondo, with his Sominex Suite in D-flat. Then a synthesized interplanetary salute to Perry Como. At the end of the hour, we’ll have information about the types of sedatives used by tonight’s artists. On Music from the Hearts of Space."
Touch of Satan:
(Mike referring to the shapely policeman.)
"And from the waist down a woman." Crow: "I try to stay in shape but after the THIRD baby."

It can make you more clever in how you respond to people. Sort of, riffing real life. The other day someone (about age 20) said "never judge a book by it's cover!" and I retorted "Unless it says 'Mein Kampf' on the cover" but the joke was lost on him, he didn't know what that was. His mom got the joke and chuckled, as did some of the others (all older folks) who got the joke.
From Wild Rebels: (After seeing Nazi flag on the wall of the shanty the 60's intellectual biker stereotypes.)
CROW: "Wow look at all the books up there, The biographies of Pat Buchanan, Mein Kamph."
SERVO: "So, honey, how long you been working on the David Duke campaign."
That line kills me every time. Especially since I met David Duke in person on two occasions, being a N.O. resident. He's a kook.
I do believe in a sense that MST makes you at the very least more aware, or worldly, of things like pop culture and historical figures. When I don't understand a reference, sometimes it bothers me so much that I have to look it up to see what the heck they are talking about. And do you know what? I've never regretted doing so.

Oh, and Macy Gray. AAAAaaaaaAAAHHH!! Remember that song she did that went like "try to said goodbye and I choke, try to walkaway and I stumble" ? That was HORRENDOUS. That voice she sings in fits the subject description of this thread perfectly. I wonder what happened to her, hopefully nothing good lol.

Growing Up Brady by Barry Williams. Story of his time on the "Brady Bunch". Quite interesting so far, although parts of it are strange, like when he and Florence Henderson went on a date. That has to be pretty interesting. Barry Williams currently has a show in Bransen, Missouri where he sings and does some Brady skits I believe lol. I've heard interviews with him on the radio, On the Opie & Anthony show. He seems like a genuinely nice guy. Laid back and easy to joke around with.

I didn't know that, cool.
He's great when he stars in the host segments too, for instance, in Devil Fish when he shows up on the SOL as an electrician and Mike teases him because he assumes all electricians are as dumb as the guy in the movie. He takes Mike's jokes in stride but gets even when he dials up a dolphin warship on his cellphone and informs Mike that electricians had a lot of problems after the movie "Devil FIsh" came out so they formed a mutual defense pact with the dolphins lol.
Where does he even come up with stuff like that? Surely a hilarious, slightly demented individual, that Paul Chapin.

I don't remember the episode, but I like the host segment where Brian Guy's having a party and all these oddballs are showing up much to Pearl's dismay, and Ortega is one of his guests lol.

I *just now* got the "No tickee, no shirtee" riff from "This Island Earth". What does it mean?

Howard Stern's Private Parts
I'm not really a Stern fan at all, but I am really into talk radio, particularly comedy and food/restaurant related radio. It was interesting to see how Stern's radio career came together over time, as I know a little bit about his show. I liked the parts with Imus especially, about that feud they had while working at the same station.

Excellent reviews, RedTom. I haven't seen the new one but I agree with you completely on the original three.
I'll probably take a look at that new one some day, though not anytime soon. I would never go see it in the theater. For some reason, I have zero interest in watching any of the movie remakes of cartoons that I used to watch as a child. I haven't watched a single GI Joe movie or Transformer movie, and I really dug those shows as a cheeky young boy.
The new TMNT though seems different, I kinda wanna take a look at that someday. I guess because I enjoyed the first two TMNT movies long after I lost interest in the cartoon, especially the first film.
Michael Bay made it right? Isn't he kind of a dope when it comes to these things? I don't know, I don't think I've seen any of his films yet that I'm aware of.

This might be a little off topic but it still is video game related. This was a real song that used to play on the radio in 1999-2000 and it was kind of popular at least in a regional sense lol.

This song reminds me of my uncle, who's been hospitalized as of late.
