I know it's a month away but if you notice any screwups on Rhino's part, fight here.

The couple making out in the car is facing the wrong way. And the guy in the rearview mirror has no NOSE!
I refuse to buy this set! Boycott Rhino!

The biggest screwup is that "The Incredibly Strange Creatures..." is one of the episodes.
Yeah, I said it.

Atari,
You know, i vaguely remember seeing TISCWSLABMUZ right around the first time it aired, but I barely remember the episode (which probably means it's not so great)...
Based on how much you loathe it, if for nothing else, I can't wait to see the episode again to see why it incurs such hatred.

It was really just that the shaky cam and the disgusting characters that made me nauseous.
My hatred of it has become more of a growing board joke than actual hatred.
Oh, who am I kidding? It is actual hatred.

The opinion of TISCWSLABMUZ is so heavily divided around here, it's worthless to try and change someone's view of it. Myself, I consider it okay, but not great.

I'm guessing that TISCWSLABMUZ will be too dark since it's been the Sci-fi eps that have been dark (Merlin;Phantom Plant) and That Sinister Urge will have glitches since Dead Talk Back is also in the same season.

Well, in the case of "The Dead Talk Back", it was the master tape at BBI that had deteriorated - I don't think it had anything to do with the season it came from. Note that the other Season 6 episodes released by Rhino ("The Creeping Terror", "Bloodlust", "The Skydivers", "Red Zone Cuba", and "Angels' Revenge") are all free of glitches. However, I do suspect you may have something valid regarding TISCWSLABMUZ. I don't know what it is about the SciFi episodes, but Rhino does have a tendency to transfer them too darkly.

You all might want to catch the DVD Talk site's review of Volume 9 today. The reviewer is a fan and seems pleased with the set, though he doesn't like TISCWSLABMUZ but thinks everyone else does.
He thought the A/V was similar to the other sets. He does say the audio on TISCWSLABMUZ is hard to hear, but thinks that's part of the original presentation. Somewhat encouraging news, but it is possible he missed some problem.
