Arguably, the entire Let's Play industry. If "constant yelling and swearing" can equate to "riffing." (Yes, yes, I know Let's Play isn't just that, especially when it's done in text form, but wow is it hard to avoid sometimes...) There's actually a YouTube group called "retsupurae" that used to make fun of really, really bad let's players in a MST-esque manner. They rarely make fun of YouTube let's plays these days and now they mostly riff on weird/bad video games (played from beginning to end, generally by other people doing it for them), awful flash games from this trash dump of a site called Newgrounds and pitch videos from failed (and sometimes successful) video game themed Kickstarters.

That's from Night of the Blood Beast and I believe it was Crow who said it. There's a thread for this kind of thing, just in case you need any more episode help in the future.

And if it's not part 2, it's gotta be part 3 (from 206 - Ring of Terror). That one ends with the "If Chauffeur's Ruled the World" song by Frank.

But paying the extra price for the coasters was not worth it in the long run. Pretty sure the extra price was more for the tin, dude. :/

It's kind of odd that Season 1 has held up better than some of the later ones. I don't think the quality problems start to show up until we get to Mike's earliest episodes. Lost Continent is the only Joel episode I can think of off the top of my head with any major damage on the picture.

Not much of a torrenting guy, sorry. Though if I upload them, you could always have the honors of downloading them and putting them up yourself. Sure! Good luck with this!

I actually do have those episodes on tape, and was planning on capturing them and putting them on dailymotion (I really don't trust YouTube with certain shows). Only problem is I gotta get a new capture device. My windows computer died on me with my only source of a capture card. :/ Well if you're able to get a new capture card, may I suggest something in addition to your plans? If you use torrents at all, there's a private tracker called MySpleen. I could send you an invite. They even have their own MST category. I've even asked around there about finding these episodes uncut. Nothing's come of it.

I'd be really interested in this too. Episodes 515, 606, 607 & 609 are all missing their commercial sign bumpers too (the ones down in Deep 13 that display the episode number and movie title on a film canister or in a book or something, right?) and I've made a few attempts around the internet already to get these episodes without any luck. And there's still a couple of other episodes that Rhino released early on with some of the bumpers missing. Those ones are always the same (just shots of the Gizmonic Institute model as seen in the opening theme from Seasons 2-5).

Depends on what you mean by no-hassle. While I've never uploaded anything to any of the following sites myself, these are both good services that I've downloaded from in the past. You can get a free account at www.mediafire.com or mega.co.nz without too much hassle from the looks of it.

Sorry to bump this, but is there any chance somebody else might have downloaded the video jlh made? I accidentally deleted it awhile ago and the link is dead now. I even sent him a PM not too long ago concerning this, but I see he hasn't been active on the board in a long time.

Giving you both the regular and MST60M episode would be no different than the 2 versions on Night Of The Blood Beast. Except both versions of 701 were identical in the theaters segments. MST60M would actually chop out bits of theater footage to fit in more commercials. I've got copies of Cave Dwellers (I'd rather not say where I got it from) and Gamera (purchased from this boards very own skyronitor) and it looks like they also re-shot the silhouettes and left the picture for black and white movies un-tinted (original episode on top from Shout! Factory's DVD, MST Hour version below): The picture on Cave Dwellers is pretty poor, but it appears to have been taken from a syndicated airing from a local station in Pennsylvania:

Here's a small video file of all of the title slates from 404-519. As I said, no 406, or 517 were ever shown to my knowledge. 504 is blink and you miss it, 410 goes black after a moment, and 519 lacks audio. These are how they always aired, IIRC. These are all taped by me from nearly 20 years ago, except for 502 & 503, which I just had to swipe from Youtube since I'm missing my copies. Enjoy! rapidshare.com/files/2525184694/MST3Kslates.aviThank you very much! As for 403, I don't have a copy of it myself, but another user posted it awhile back right here. He just took a photo of his television screen so it's far from the best quality, but it's the only image I can find of it.

Hello. I was wondering if anybody could provide me with just screen caps of some of the title cards seen in episodes from Seasons 4 and 5? Y'know, those things seen before the opening where you hear a guy say "Mystery Science Theater 3000, Show XXX, Reel 1"? I've been able to obtain most of them through various ways (eg: three episodes re-issued by Shout have them intact, which I posted about here), and although I'd prefer to have full length episodes with everything intact, all I'm asking for is just a screenshot of each individual title card. So, here are the ones I'm looking for: 406 - Attack of the Giant Leeches 408 - Hercules Unchained 409 - The Indestructible Man 415 - The Beatniks 420 - The Human Duplicators 423 - Bride of the Monster 504 - Secret Agent Super Dragon 513 - The Brain that Wouldn't Die 515 - The Wild World of Batwoman 517 - Beginning of the End I'm also a little unsure of two of these episodes. I have copies of 420 and 423 that both have a "Turn Down Your Lights" card instead of a title card. Have these episodes always been like this, or do I have some odd, alternate versions of them?
